Guys guys guys. Okay. I have a big problem that i want to express to you all. Those who are looking to buy a marker soon...and are at this site to read review on markers...well...please read this.

HALF the dumb people here are either morons or left there brains back at the paintball field. Yes..i'm talking smack..and beleive me..i can back my word up. Test me. I learned paintball by myself...with a few help of ACTUALLY people who knows paintball....including Hsuve...Blindseamen...and SaiyanWariior. I appreciate you guys HONEST and Thorough reviews.

If you guys dont' own the gun...or don't know enough aobu the marker you bought....please don't post on this website. I've read SO many reviews that are crap. Monkey piss crap. STOP IT. ALOT of people..especailly kids...take in what you write. Don't write..if you dont' know. I'm not talking down to all of you..you know who you are. Alot of you give really good insight on products..and i thank you.

For example. I have an Xtra. I have read review that the Xtra is a good gun because fo it's green anodize color that is "CamO" LOL...the hell were you smoking in the morning bro? That is NOT a good reason to go buy a gun. I have read that this marker is Accurate...blah blah blah. HELL NO. My spyder was so inaccurate stock..LIKE most guns. I bought a DYE stainless steel...and THAT's when it kicked some butt.

Remember...semi guns are semi guns. Most of them out there are built pretty good. With the right upgrades...most gun will operate th same way. Lot of stuff out there is hype. Don't beleive everything you read.

Okay....also....alot of you say your spyders are better than autocockers. Maybe it's true...but no matter how much upgread you put..you cannot deny the fact that cockers were BUILT for LP setup. Sypders CAN operate LP..but NOT AS effiecient as Autocockers. Yet it doesn't make a Spyder ANY less than an autococker. When it comes down to it.....and upgrade spyder will perform around the aread of a autococker. NOT much difference can be seen. You want to see a big jump in improvement. Go get a nice job and go buy an electro. PERIOD.

Anwyays...sorry guys. I'm just concern for everyone here that read these posts. I want newbies out there who are base their decision to buy a gun on this website to know that it's better to go out there and see for yourself. Not everything said here is true.

Peace out guys. You all be safe out there.

LoL Boom I had a feeling you were gonna post a thread like this :), but yet you do have a point. Alot of people post a bunch of crap that doesnt say enough why its worth a flip to buy the marker or whatever your looking at.

But I sometimes go around the reviews and If I see a bad one I just report so please if you see a bad one report it.

Oh and I was reading through Cp (completepaintball.com) and some guy with a piranha supposedly had his marker cycling at 200 PSI or so, but Im not sure If I really believe it.

Hey SW. How's it going. LOL..yeah. Just wanna make sure people understand things around here. It's the real world. Don't be so nieve to believe everything you read. 200psi? Wow..i don't know...it'll probably be sputtering alot though. Is he shooting CONSISTNELY at 280fps? I mean..lol..dang..i can put my Xtra down to 200 or so..but it'll shoot like every 15 trigger clicks at like 15fps..or something stupid like that.

Anyways...my point is that LP setup WILL increase your consistency and accuracy. From 800psi to 300 psi..you'll see a big change. But an autococker with a dye stainless steel shooting at 250psi and a Spyder with a dye s s shooting at 300psi...a difference of 50psi....jeez....there is BARELY any chance in accuracy...yet maybe a good amount of change in effeciency and velocity consistency. Anyways...that's all.

Later guys.

Well said boom. Pretty much the only guys that have helped me out on my problems are Hsuve, prokchop, and Saiyan and a few others. I am also sick of all the crap reviews people write on the site. I report everyone I see. I think we need a new system for writing reviews, like you have to be a member of the forums and/or register using only one name and that name will be used everytime you write a review, and if you are caught writing fake reviews you are banned for a period of time. Any other thoughts?

Good...alot people feel the same way as i do. Well code..i'm glad you think the same way.

Blowbacks DO have a disadvantage...in that they ARE blowbacks. Blowback is when the air travels' "back" in your gun and up your vertical feed...thus disrupting the flow of your balls down to your gun. It also makes the gun have a slight recoil. BUT..all these are fixable. Number one...if your concern about your blowback screwing up the flow of your balls....don't be. It only happens IF your Hopper is low on balls....when your hopper is decently full...there is no problem....as Blindseamen would also probably agree. Plus...wiht the dozens of games i've used my Xtra....i've haven't felt the problem SO severe that it would make me buy another gun. It is very slight..and very seldom. Just go buy a Revy then.
Then second problem of the slight recoil. Well...deal with it. Ever shot a 357 magnum? Well i have...my girlfirend's fricken dad took me shooting ( i think he was tryin to tell me something). It's a big FREAKING recoil...and you still see cops and army men out there perfect it's power. Just practice..and be in control. That's all.

Spyders are guns that are cheaper than Autocockers. It's a fact. Don't expect all the amenities and nice stuff the cocker comes with stock. BUT...a spyder..i feel...is the a VERY GOOD deal for it's price. And there is no reason to believe a Spyder can't be as goos as a cocker. Done. Boom. Flash. I"m gone.

yeh he says his marker is very consistant at about 280 fps or so, but im not sure if hes actually running at 200 psi.

Does anyone know a site where I would be able to get Spyder Offset to Straight Adapter block / Drop Foward Adapter. I have the Kapp Drop Zone 2 drop. Just looking for a adapter so it can work with my Spyder stock frame.

I know there are people who post bogus info, there are a lot of them. Things are in the works to solve that problem, in the mean-time. As someone you've seen around for a while and trust. Most of the mods for instance have a vast amount of knowledge, all you need to do is ask. Caution though, Mods are more likely to give you facts, rather than opinions.. so ultimately you will have to judge for yourself.

Don't worry, things are in motion.

I'm going to have to disagree with you about blowback being a disadvantage... Air does not always blow up the feed tube. Take BlindSeaman's Xtra as an example. Spyders shouldn't have blowback, or any strong blowback. Remember, the chamber is closed when the air is blown out. You shouldn't underestimate "kids" and their knowledge. I, myself, am no more than 14 years of age. There's no recoil in which I notice with my Spyder, unless of course I try to pay attention. :) But then again, if you pay close attention with 'Cockers and pull the trigger quickly, you, too, will feel the kick. I've also used electronic guns, which are considered to be high end, and they, too, have a kick in them.

I totallya agree there are too many dumb-*** reviews on this site. Take this one for example. Its from the Spyder Compact Deluxe reviews.

Good: well it is good cuz it only cost my 23 food stamps, but here in perrysburg we dont have all that so i stole some from those rich collins kids. boy are they rich
Bad: rounding up 23 food stamps isnt easy let me tell ya, i had to steal some cans from the can ladies in colins i was so desperate, but this gun is really poor and scrubby
Conclusion: this gun is good if u can afford 23 food stamps, what i did is wait 5 months and saved all my wel-fare checks up and bought me one of these

i agre with boom i came to this web site when i was considering buying a new marker i remember seeing reviews on markers that ( being fresh out of the box) I knew were not true and it made me skeptical own whos review to trust i 'm glad that people like boom can speak their mind when they need to. getting the right info in this sport is important. if you see someone post a phony review go on that forum and speak your mind people come here for the info and its inportant that they get it. boom i tip my hat to you and good night to the rest.

P.S. remember question everything, and i don't just mean reviews

I defiantly agree with the main point of your post. Just to let you know though, LP does not necessarily mean better efficiency. (look at a shocker) That, and I'm wondering how you got DYE to make you a 12 foot long barrel.:D

When I got my Shutter I wrot e BIG *** review that took some serious thought and time. Someone wrote me an insulting e-mail that quite simply said "Were you bored when you wrote that?" I also think there should be a way to take the best reviews and "sticky" them so the newbs see people who know what they're talking about, rather than mindless crap.

.

Not true, I have asked a couple of mod.'s question's on is this a good gun and I get responses well I would buy thise one. or stuff like that. that aint always true.

I agree though, people who write bad reviews should be taken out un the street and beaten with a garden hoe.

What's just about as bad as those bogus reviews are the ones that go

GOOD:
Everything

BAD:
NOTHING

Conclusion:
THIS IS GOOD
