I am going to buy an impulse, and i have some ideas for what i want, check it out!
Silver 2004 Smart Parts Impulse with Vert. reg (whenever they come out, if anyone knows then plz tell me!)
WAS board
Rat Factory Internals, with stubby bolt(does the bolt size affect the bps)
New disignz magno blade trigger
Adrenalin products tapeworm(or should i go with Smart Parts tapeworm)
Palmers micro-rock LPR
Full Flow Valve
and of coarse, Clear Halo B

Deff stay with the RAT internals
I would go for an LPR designed specifacally for the impulse, like the NDZ combo, etc.
If you have an LPR you don't need a tapeworm, you need an LPR nipple, the NDZ and SP combo's come with one
WAS board is a nice choice for sure
BTW, what position do you play? I play back and have no eye, so a Halo is a must for me. However, when my WAS board comes a revvy will be on the way. I'll still stay with the Halo for most tourneys, but a lighter hopper is nice to have sometimes. Plus changing the batteries in a Halo is not fun.

you cant use a tapeworm with lpr setups, i know what your saying, but they're either called lpr nipples or tapeworms for lprs. mirco rock's are good, but smart parts/new designz lpr setup are better. also, if you are prepaired to spend that much money you might as well be a new trigger frame instead of just a trigger-any trigger is much, much better than a blade. what is a full flow valve, and chances are that a rip valve is better.the size of the bolt really doesn't effect bps. if you get the rat factory kit w/ the rat hole hammer, then don't get the stubby bolt, but the longer normal lenght bolt or a flush bolt. good luck on your impulse.

Thanks for helpin me out, im still not sure if ill get an imp like this yet, but if i do it wiill be this one, only i guess ill get a ND LPR instead of micro rock, and what trigger do you reccomend?
I dont know if ill get a new frame, as opposed to a just a new trigger, because i dont see the point, and im not gonna pay 130 for an l-frame when all it does is move evrything forward.
well its either this or an orracle or an xonic autococker, still cant decide.
P.S. i play middle

don't buy a xonic autococker. the reason people buy new frames, wether it be the otb vert frame (130$) or the i-frame (160$), is that they want a better feal for their gun and more importantly they want less side to side play on the trigger and a more adjustible trigger that has more precise adjustments (here a good analogy, the stock trigger is like a chain saw-not precise all, the upgraded triggers are like butchers knives-better, but still not very precise and a whole new frame's trigger is like a scalple-very precise). the only really good excuse/reason for not buying a whole new frame is that it is toooo expensive. if you don't want to/can't buy a new trigger frame (i would suggest an otb vert fame if you want one though), then the best trigger upgrade is a v2 werm trigger with k adjustment. any blade trigger made by new designz or eclipse works great too though. if you play middle you'll want an impulse because it will let play close and it'll also let you shoot much more much faster than an orracle while being almost as accurate (pretty much the same).

Sounds good to me. Try getting a Smart Parts LPR instead of a Palmer's. Everything else sounds good to me. You'll love the ND Magno-Blade:)

Well im pretty sure they do make them in years, so im waitin for the 2004's.
and when you say the smart parts LPR do you mean a max-flow LPR? cause i cant find those anywhere for sale.
(tell me if you know where plz)
Also what barrel kit do you reccomend, i know the freak kit is good, but ive also heard the evil pipe and j&j scepter barrel kits are better.
P.S. i can buy any color imp with a vert reg for $425 at firstcallpaintball. and rockymountainsport.com
but ive seen a silver imp and its not that impressive so i think il go with a red or blue imp.

Buy everything from www.e-paintballoutlet.com. Better service and very nice people to work with. You can buy the SP LPR there.
A good barrel kit is either the Freak, Evil Pipe, Scepter, or Empire 7-piece.
I would recomend against the Palmer rock reg. They are one of the best regs available for the Autococker, but they don't have the recharge rate that the Impulse needs at the pressures the Imp runs at.
I would recomend one of the following three LPRs:
ANS Jack Hammer II
Smart Parts Mini-Flow
Evil Respirator

passed on the excal, it was ebay.
I still dont know what im getting, but its definately either a 2004 b2k with PDS or an imp with WAS.

don't buy a b2k w/ pds, a stock impulse with a was board will kick a b2k's butt any day-i'm not being biased, go to www.wickedairsportz.com to watch the impulse video with their was equalizer board.

Yeah ive seen that video, but I want to see a video of a b2k 2003 with pds in action before i make any descisions.

my friend has a b2k3. they are no joke. i hate when impulse owners are ignorant towards them. They are well made markers with a good company backing them up that SP decided to smack up when they realized that they are in a business. but that is besides the point. They shoot 36 bps stock. The stock trigger is a blade format so its pretty easy to rip on it.
The cons are:
The stock hpr is poop
The Stock barrel is poop
It is limited in upgrades compared to an imp
The microswitches are really sensitive. My friend broke his and i have heard other stories of the same.
If you like the way they look go for it. Just don't ever go in this forum again.
An imp with WAS would smack the crap out of a b2k ill have you know.

i am not being a hater on the b2k's, and smart parts was being a really pain in the a'', but as you said, an impulse has more potencial than a bushmaster and any impulse with WAS would smack the crap out of a b2k.

b2k3's are great if they have PDS but if they don't they are poop, their LPR is also poop, cosmetics are poop IMO, and Impy's ahve a better resale value than b2k's and b2k3's and an Impy w/ WAS can rip like any other gun out so far. Remeber trix's use bounce to get that high rof just like timmy's but Impy's can also be set up to have mad bounce espically with otb frames

So mosless ur sayin that a b2k3 with pds isnt as good as an imp with WAS? cause thats what it sounds like.

all in all bushy's aren't worth it imo
