what are the advantages or disadvantages of having the max flow in the veritcal position on the marker or the horizontal position on the bottle? also how does the max flow compare to an after-marker reg like a violator. thanks
The max-flow by many is considered the best regulartor on the market.
There isn't really a performance difference on where you mount your max-flow, its a preference thing. Although, putting the max-flow vertically in front of the trigger does shorten the height profile. Personally, I just don't like the thought of a $150 reg under the grip frame. I shudder to think what would happen if I landed hard and hit it. Others just like to use the max-flow as a foregrip.
For the most part though, it is preference.

hey dkj1028
I was thinking about getting an Front Reg Mount to move my maxy, either that or buy an aftermarket Vert reg.
where did you buy yours?
I use a gadget grip right now and I often hold my gun on my gadget grip when I'm playing.
When you mount your reg up front is it comfortable to hold/grip?
I think it looks dope regardless.

hey
i would suggest buying the mount instead of buying the vert reg
the mount is much cheaper and is very easy to install
i bought mine from www.paintballgear.com but there are many other places online that sell them
it is very comfortable as a foregrip as long as u dont want to wrap your hand all the way around, it is very big around but i think it is very comfotable
i am loving it
since i put it on i have had one day of practice and one tourney
very comfortable and i have had no probs
great upgrade and keeps the reg out of the way of harm
i was able to install it in about 5 mins
everyone that picks up my gun think it is very comfortable and it has much better balance than it used to
great to have the on off for my tank now too
ill be happy to answer any other questions
peace
