Depends on what you are looking for in a barrel. The flatline is great if you want to shoot real far, and even at closer distanes, because the trajectory is so flat, it's almost easier to aim. It is very expensive though, and can be quite difficult to install. Most people buy an inexpensive aftermarket barrel to replace the one their guns came with. Some good suggestions are the J&J ceramic, or the lapco bigshot. You'll get great performance, at an inexpensive price

My friend bought a BOA. (barrels of america). Its kinda long on a tippmann, but this thing shoots very accurate. It is very polished on the inside of the barrel too. He never breaks balls in it either. I think the barrels runs around $50-$65. Check them out.

the Flatline barrel for the Model 98 is simply awesome! it shoots very far! I especially like how it's flat trajectory make hitting targets at long distances much easier then with the stock barrel. I shot my friends 98! and was pretty amazed
