View Full Version : tournament question (gun related)
OK, heres the deal. I shoot a decked out spyder e99 (CiP full force delrin bolt, spring kit, AA vigilante regulator, CP 1 piece barrel, 68/4500 n2 tank, with an on/off drop forward, and a rico 2k hopper). As I have become more interested in tournament play than I was in woodsball, im wondering if its time to take the next step up with my gun. Even with all the upgrades, its still a spyder and even though its low pressure- it probably isn’t what I want to be shooting when I REALLY get into tournaments. I like to shoot fast and accurate and as we all know spyders usually arent always up to that task. So what do you think? Is it time to move up to a better gun, or will I be fine for now until its really worth it. Im not talking about spending 1,000’s of dollars. I would probably look into an impulse, upgrading it with vision in the future. Other than that, the evil omen, or any other marker out there in the $400-550 range. Let me know your opinion. Thanks.

get an omen/bko/b2k. they will be great for a mid level marker.

Although the Orracle is not that fast, a $525 it is a great deal, and if you sell your gun that gets you pretty close to the $350 for an e-blade or a $370 worr blade. That would be my option. All of these items can be found at (Where I got my orry):

Mech Cockers can be very fast. The only thing would be playing back with one may be hard. Most likely you would be out-gunned by the opponents back players with electric markers. Cockers are awesome though, just make sure you know what you're doing with them (tinkering wise), or else you'll be sitting out. All of the markers mentioned in here are good, its a matter of your opinion and how you like them. (omen will own a stock imp/vision imp).

Used Imp, with WAS board. Sell your loader and buy an egg.
