I think the woods are the best place to play because it gives you more of a natural feeling. I would love to play in like my house but too much of a mess. The woods makes it feel like real warfare (or at least hide and go seek) and also makes camouflage very important. Anything that is open isn't really good because the games go really fast and there isn't a lot of strategy to it.

In the open, true there is less hiding, but less strategy is unfair. Though you'd think there is very little that you can do strategy wise on a sup'air field, strategy can win or lose a game. Things like moving a forward guy into a very vulnerable position to attract the oposing team so you can push the other side, or firing heavy on one side of a bunker and nailing him from the other side if he shifts too far away from the incoming paint. Or a back player that intentionally makes a big target of himself, hoping for a front player to pop up, and then have one of his front guys nail that guy. Because of the high paint volume, it may look like little strategy was involved, that's really not the case

i voted for the open play, but i think it would be extremely fun to play in a warehouse or some building

When I say open I mean virtually no cover. Maybe a tree or two but otherwise just grass and dirt on a flat field. I agree that there is a lot of strategy involved with Sup'air but I think our perception of an open field is different between us.

At the field i play at its open and it has a fixture of speedball woods and like a junk yard. And if we were just going to play speedball we would just elimate certain places to go. Also there is hills that you can clime to get to the enemy base and stuff. We play almost any game you can think of in the field. The field has done a good job to keep it open and running.

Oh, my bad. If you mean just a big open field... well that's sorta nuts in my opinion :)

sup air is just those fields made of big inflatable bunkers, those are the ones you see used at the majority of tournaments these days, because it's easy to set up, you just need an open space and a compressor, so it's getting very popular on the tournament scene

In my opinion Paintball is an art.. A challenge. And in my opinion the best place to play is where the most challenge would be. WOODS all the way. Like..Its way harder to play in the woods because you can clash with the colors and surrounding area. But I think a warehouse would be so sweet to play in. Another thing..In open area with bunkers and **** sometimes sucks because you can hide like a lil punk and sit there the wholr game...You are always shootable in the woods...Always in range..Am I correct?
