Hey, congratulations on your sweet Spyder. :D I, too, personally can't stand a long barrel, but it's true that the longer it is, the easier it is to sight down. With a 114CI tank, I would recommend the KAPP Drop Zone II. Completely adjustable, and will give your "package" a smaller profile... ;) I'm thinking that the LPC and the striker is still stock, as well as the screws. :) If you want, you can also replace the screws with nicer looking 10-32 threaded screws, so now you have like only 2 parts that are still stock. :) A stock 'Cocker will not perform as well as this Spyder, I'm sure, and stock wise, it's already $340... Impulses would be a good choice, but it'd run you $400 gun only, and that would take some time to save up... A Bushmaster is even more, $450, and it's highly recommended that you use nitrogen with it... Being the owner of both a Bushmaster and my Spyder, I gotta say that accuracy wise, it's no jump up. Speed? Yep, but the final question is: are you willing to pay a lot for just ROF? Spyders can already crank out a good 8-10BPS with a good trigger job... To screw on the stock 'Cocker regulator, you need:
1. The regulator
2. A vertical adapter
3. At least one hand ;)
All you gotta do is screw it on.

it's nice to know that some one as highly rated as you thinks my gun is sweet. the striker is of the fatty type i bought it from national pb supply .com and the low pressure chamber is one that i bought off a friend it's off of his shutter. all the screws were custom made out off 1040 aluminum(i think thats it) at ace hardware.it's the strongest aluminum out there.i have the two in the regulator that are stock and the one thats in the bolt.lol

hey that gun would be even better ROF wise if you either got a good trigger job done or an ELCD frame. I was just trying out my friends tl plus with Smart parts barrel and 12 volt revvy with an ELCD and we put it on full auto and got all the way up 12 balls per second. it was unbelieveably fast. i couldnt get over the fact that the gun was handling that kind of BPS. it makes me realize how i have only been shooting like 5 bps. i suggest you get an ELCD.

an electric trigger frame is in the making.just gotta get more cash.

Hey man what's the trigger pull on that thing like. You may not need a electro frame if you have a real short crips pull. The sticky thread in the bloback forum (or this one I'm not sure which one it was in) is a very good trigger job, then again you probably already have one.
PS. The barrel prefrence is your choice, I agree that a longer barrel is much easier to sight with. Hehe but 16 freegin inches...and a 114ci tank...man you must need some big *** bunkers...lol But like I said it's just what you personally want and it's not a performance hit either way...maybe a little less efficient but who cares with 114ci you can shoot a freekin case...cant ya?
:D Haha...once again NICE GUN! :D

hey slurpster where did you get the bob long body for your gun, did you have to buy any other parts for it to work correctly?

i bought most the parts from national paintball supply. tell you the truth in my honest opinion this gun has very little blow back way less then a regular spyder.it shoot's like a dream i created this gun in less than two weeks. but it took about 8 months to imagine this gun it's literally a dream come true. thanx for all the props guys i appreciate it.

DANG DUDE!!!!!
You told you're gun looked good, but you didn't say it looked this nice. I was expecting to see something nice, but not this nice man I was like blown out of my seat when i opened this up and saw your gun. Chris, your gun is BAS ***, why are you trying to trick it out so much if you are just going to trade it or sell it? If i was you, i would just keep this, and screw tyring to get a new one. Man, allyou have to do to this is very few things, and then you are set. ;) :)
MORE POWER TO YOU DAWG, HOPE YOU'RE ON MY TEAM NEXT TIME WE PLAY. ARE YOU RIDING OUT TO LOW COUNTRY THIS WEEKEND?

I am quite impressed....I'm working on upgrading the shizit out of my Shutter. As for you, I'd reccomend getting one of those Twisted LP chambers. Won't perform any differently, but it'll look sweet. As for the ELCD, Spyder's E-frame is gonna be right in your budget. Deluxe model for $179 at www.paintballgarage.com
Maybe it's www.thepaintballgarage.com
Anyway, much better than the Boo-Yaah mouse click.
Anyway, that's a pretty sweet gun. I want the Bob long fade done to my Shutter body. Next time I hear someone who says a Spyder can't outperform a cocker.....I'll point them to this thread.

I'm curious as to how the ESP is better than the eLCD... Mind sharing? :)

i just ordered a twisted low pressure chamber. traded my 16 inch boomstick for a 12 inch lapco bigshot.needed smaller barrel lol. yeah yeah yeah in know"i told you so"lol.
and i got the best upgrade of all a hyper frame. got it for $100 what a deal.
as for the delrin bolt it is truly awesome i would recomend it to any body wanting to upgrade there bolt. decreases velocity slightly due to lack of wieght. my hyper frame is so dag gone sweet i love it.

Hsuve,
First off, the ESP comes with a new bolt that doesn't wear like the old one, next off, it shouldn't click like a mouse, unlike the Boo-yaahs, it'll be a real trigger. At least, that's what I'm hoping.
Get the details at www.kingmanusa.com

All bolts will receive wear. My stock bolt did, and the Shocktech bolt that I bought a long time ago and sold also had wear on it over time. And are you talking about the bolt or striker? Some people will call those two different things... It will click, why? Because I bet it touches a microswitch, like all other electros. Even my Bushmaster "clicks." And what do you mean by a "real trigger?" Personally, I think the eLCD has a "real" trigger... ;)

the delrin bolt is still a great bolt. i wasn't talking about the bolt wearing out, i was talking about the inside of the body on the gun. metal on metal will scrape at on another, but plastic on metal won't. yeah hsuve is right about the trigger it still clicks.
