i installed the R/T tonight on my a-5, a little harder than expected, especially getting the grip frame back on so the pins lined up (had to lean on it while my girlfriend pushed it in with a hammer) but while i was disasembling the marker, a little tiny black o-ring fell out and i have no idea where it goes and i didnt see it anywhere in the manual, could somone please help me out, and didnt anyone else have the same problem getting the grip on?

It probably goes on the back of the bolt around the spring somewhere. I don't know the internals on an a5 too well, but I have an oring just hanging around my spring.

hrmmm, that may be it, i was thinking it may go there, right where the spring goes onto the back of the bolt right?

It should be in you manual as the "buffer O-Ring" at least that's what it is for the 98C. Pretty sure that's it.
But, buffer O-rings are not little or tiny, just black. I'm not too famaliar with the A-5 either. Is the O-ring in question about the same size as the gun tube? Do you have any other mods it might've come from? Do you think it might be from the R/T kit?
Have you gassed up the marker? does everything work and not leak etc.

I guess, I'm not sure which side it's actually supposed to be on because mine literally just hangs in the middle of my spring. Works okay though.

The buffer O-ring is supposed to sit there and provide a barrier to keep the hammer and the endcap from hitting each other. If your buffer O-ring is behind the hammer it's fine. I really need to DL an A-5 manual.

this thing is really really small, not even as big around as an eraser off a pencil, and its real thin, its a very very small o-ring

On the Safety buttons on the 98c they have O-rings... maybe it came off of there?

nah i got a a-5, when i opend up where the bolt and power tube and all that is i just seen it fall on the table. Its real small, im thinking it may be more for keeping stuff from hitting so hard rather than sealing
