question, what is so good about an eclipse angel?

eclipse angels are pretty cool.

they preform pretty much the same as all angels.
they are f a s t....

they are probalby some of the best looking angels.

I have never seen one made as LCD... only led...
they probably exist... I just never seen an eclipse lcd.

There really isn't much to an Eclipse.

Planet made them, but they had a falling out (so I hear) with WDP before LCDs were introduced. Not sure about the details, but basically Planet stopped with Eclipse Angels. So, you're only going to find an LED Eclipse.

The anodizing and milling is the biggest selling point. That, and the rareness of them. The only other thing that sets them apart from stock LED, other than cosmetics, are low pressure internals. But, this doesn't do much to the performance.

Shouldn't expect any difference between an Eclipse and any other Angel other than the looks.

That's a 3rd series in one of the various anos, usually called banzai green. I got the pic from G3, and they have this one for sale ($1000).

All Eclipse basically does to the Eclipse Bushy,Angel, Impulse etc is add awesome milling and ano work. Besides that its the same as a SE

does the eclipse have the same dips on the back to switch the firing mode like all other angels?

no.,. the only angels with the buttons on back are the LCD. there is no longer a big deal about the eclipse angels. WDP as absorbed all the inovations that planet put into the eclipse and made most of it standard on the late model LED and the LCD's(milling, 2 trigger set screws, drouble trigger, colored anod)
