vision???????a necestiy or preference?

I find it a necesity. It boosts your boards bps from 13.something to 20. I find that's a good advantage, and plus is you have a crappy hopper, you'll need vision. There's a lot mroe reasons why I forked out the cash for it.

if you have a non-vision 2k3 impulse then it is capped at 20 anyways...

vision isnt a neccessity and it sucks...just get an egg or halo.

krappfactory is a forcefeed hopper a real necesity for an impy jw do u need it? i dunno......this kid told me that after his first day of playing w/ his impy he needed vision because he broke like 1 in every 10 balls????.....i mean is that realistic or does he just suck donkey balls???

alright first of all vision doesnt allow ur board to shoot faster. thats just bps without breaking. vision slows ur gun down becasue it doesnt shoot if paint isnt there. a powerfeed hopper lets u shoot faster and not chop. its also cheaper. BAM

Wait for the equalizer.

The last time I played I was chopping paint really bad the whole day. Paint was Draxxus Blaze which was a hard shell paint. I was trying to Snap Shoot an opponent's red halo in the snake from about 8 yards away. Could not hit him.
Paint was also in my barrel. (I have a freak barrell)

I'd rather have a clean marker to play with.

this isn't about the equalizer, but if you need/want vision now, just wait and get an equalizer board. vision helps, unless you muck up the board when you install it. i don't think it's a nessesity, but you can't dispute that vision helps. vision doesn't slow your gun down, it just doesn't shoot when there isn't paint in the breach. why would you cant to be shooting when a paintball's not in the breach (unless you adjusting the pressure or something)? a force feed hopper is more of a 'must', if anything is, than a vision board. a haloB is what you should be buying regardless if you have vision or not. vision doesn't suck (unless you mucked it up when you installed it) and don't buy an evoII. it doesn't feed fast enough at a consistant rate and will let you chop if you don't have vision and shoot fast. that is it...

psh i don't have vision and i never chop unless its in my barrel. i was chopping marbs while using a halo and they were breaking in my freak because they were not right for my bore. I usually just skip a ball when im shooting really fast with my rico.

Wait for the Equalizer to become more readily availible. Its around 150 and it has a break beam eye. Much better than the vision's eye. It is also a much faster board then your stock vision board. Don't get vision unless u have really really fast fingers and a revy. If you don't you should be fine.

yea most people shooting a nonvision impy break cause of their bore size. i shoot a non-vision imp with an egg2 and never chopped a paintball, and i average out a shot of like 12bps. anyways, what is the point of shooting 20 bps? yea i know accuracy by volume, but if you have an accurate barrel if you dont hit them the first time, your not gonna hit them, (unless you make em tuck then get em out when they come back out) dont get an eye, just get a halo or an egg2.

laning?, although you guys are definitely right about the bore size probably being the ball breaker, the evoII isn't a true force feed hopper and cannot sustain a rate of fire faster than like 16 or so bps. it can hip 22 sure, but it cannot sustain it. as impyshmimpy said, don't just buy vision/or don't buy vision, but make sure your gun has a haloB (or if you are short on cash get a eVoII).

In my point of view i find it as a upgrade. Cuz it helps alot in performance otherwise you'll be chopping but with some ppl they dont need it cuz they dont or wont over shoot their normal bps setting. The only way to chop with the 13 or whatever bps is if your using a gravity hopper such as a vl200 or something like that. But when i play sometimes i get tired of using the vision so i use my nasty imp that doesnt have the vision board on it.
