the bm and sto are the same except the bm has anon, angled adapter, milling on the reg, body milling and metal 45 grip. they have the same front block and bolt. the price has really come down on the sto making it a great buy for about 600 bux and add 60 for the same shocktech grip and you have a great setup. the stock is just that stock. the barrel is by far the worst thing on the stock and next is the grip. as for the valves i have no idea if they are the same on all 3, however i have a feeling they are. cannot really think of anything else right now but im sure someone will help me out l8r

I was thinking about getting a Black Magic but I think I am just going to get a 01' vertical feed wich I can get for $420 and then get a freak barrel system and N2. I will play with that for a while and then get other upgrades when I know more about the guns.

thats a great idea cody, not only get that stuff but since you will be saving about 80bux with the price difference from the links they gave you get a metal grip while your at it. the composite one will eventually break and ruin a day of pb.

I have been looking at the V cockers and I notice that it said it did not come with a bottom line. I am fairly new with this type of higher quality gun than my tippman which I really simple. If it does not have a bottom line how would I hook N2 or CO2 to my gun. Would I need to get a cradle and stuff. And I still don't understand exactly what a inline reg does.

you would have to buy a bottomline which consists of macroline or steel braided hose an asa and fittings for the macroline if you choose macroline.

Is there an advantage to having either a microline or a braided hose?

yes their is the advantage that the stainless steel braided line will take hits and abuse the macroline will not. the inline regulator is the foregrip that regulates the pressure into the marker. most stock cockers will be setup around 350-400psi. should come from the factory ready to go.
