Did he modify his trigger at all?
And you might want to have a gun smith look at the valve.
There could be an obstruction in the hose, or you could've takenout the velocity screw. There are all kinds of things that could've gone wrong. Take it to a gunsmith. That's your best bet.

the only thing he did was but a expansion chamber on it about a week ago but it worked fine after it was installed the problem seemed to just happen this last time out...maybe it was a delayed malfunction from the expansion chamber????

Check all of the o-rings in the valve, and the x-chamber. If all of those are fine, make sure the tank is full, and if it is still leaking, come back. Oh, and does he have an RVA, or a spring kit installed?

i would ask ur buddy to make sure all parts are where they are suppose to be, and make sure none are missing. i had a problem LIKE that a few months ago. had a ball detent in backwards, and not only did the gun fire more then 1 ball out, but it was not recocking itself like it should.

OK, i'm the buddy with the jacked up gun...
The O-rings all look good, and all the parts are installed, The velocity adjustment screw is also still there. i've eliminated the X-Chamber as the fault because i screwed the bottle directly into the vertical adapter and it was still doing the same thing.
I've taken the gun to an Air Smith and i am awaiting a phone call from him to tell me what the hell is wrong with it. When i know i'll post to the forum just in case anyone else is suffering from the same problem.

I just thought of something, did you check the 2 valve body screws on the right reciver of the gun, and make sure they werent loose, or damaged?

they seemed tight, but i must admit that in the last 4 months i've had the marker i do field strip it after each game and clean and oil all internal parts...
And in the process i have taken the 2 screws out that hold the power tube to the right side of the body so i could clean it and i have not locktite'd them back because i did not realize that they were locktite'd in the first place. nowhere in the manual did it say to not do that, althought in the manual it didn't say to do that either.
I am now starting to think that this may be the main cause of my problems, because its the most common answer to my problems both in this forum, and in tippmann's forum.

you should field strip your marker often to oil it up. It will help your marker and you will get to know more about how it works. YOu can't mess it up, there are a few small pieces but when you open it up, nothing will fly out. After the first time you open it, you will be used to it and it will become much easier.

Well i spoke with my airsmith about my gun problem, and it turns out that i'm a retard and the last time i field stripped my marker, i put my ball latch in backwards, so when the bolt was moving forward it was getting stuck on the ball latch and that is why i had horrid velocity and the gun would not recock.
He hasn't replaced the latch yet to make sure that is all that was wrong with it, so when its finished i'll post the final result.
