triton barrel thread

am i rite in thinking that spyder barrels are supposed to fit tritons and most other vl, ba and jt guns? i've got a 6.0 and a spyder thread teardrop barrel fits that fine but i just bought my bro a triton and a spyder thread progressive barrel for christmas and the barrel wont fit, the actuall thread is rite but it wont screw all the way in, i'm goin to have to grind it and then smoothen the end so that it will fit!?

Yeah, just file down the little piece of metal that keeps the o-ring in one place. That should work, I was gonna do it, post how it goes.

done it, though i grinded a bit of the end first before i realised that you just have to grind the o ring bit. it seems to have worked fine but he hasn't shot it yet so i don't really know. just be carefull not to grind the thread while your doing it.
