The "break in" most people refer to is the breaking in of the regs.

It normally takes around a case to break in the regs, but that doesn't mean that you cant play with you gun. For example, you may shoot +/- 6 with your regs not broken in, but once they are broken in, your gun will shoot +/- 3. Again, this is just an example. Basically, its just a performance break in.

First thing I recommend you do when you get your gun, is read the manual front to back. It will tell you how to clean the gun, set the regs, and what to do if you encounter a problem.

BKOs are great and fairly simple guns. They are very easy to maintain.

does it help breaking the gun in by shooting only air?
or do you have to shoot actual paintballs?

i was just wondering since The Fuzz was talking about it
thanks.....

Yeah, you can break it in by shooting air, but its more fun doing it in a game.:D

The bko is really easy to maintain...i chopped a ball (my fault for not turnin my evo on:crazy: ) and had to field strip it. the bolt is easy to clean and take apart and the ball detent is easy to clean as well. im a former tippmann owner and this thing was alot easier than that. (if u can feild strip a tippmann u can strip anything)

Good Luck!

You can also seat/breakin the regs by gassing the marker up and letting is sit over night with air on it.

When people talk about breakin in their regs they are basically referring to the time frame it takes for the seat to get a good seal. When this is achieved you will see a more consistant marker because there is less gas bleeding around the seat giving the marker a more consistant amount of air for each shot.
