whats do you guys think is the best gun oil/lube for the TES, and this is for just general oiling (like bolt, hammer and other internals)
i doubt it, but has anyone tried the Evil Pus? is that any good in your opinion?

Gold Cup always worked fine for me. Oddly enough i still have half a bottle and I can't even use it on my marker now.

I knew someone would ask that question. But on Impulse's u can only use Dow 33(its more like a grease) or it voids the warrenty.

For the bolt/striker assembly I use Penn's Fishing Reel Lube! It's a higher viscosity than most gun oil, durable, an excellent lubricant, and available at almost any sporting goods store. It really lasts longer and provides better lubrication than, and will not evaporate like thinner oils. And..... it's cheap. One caution: don't put it on your pin valve assy. and blow it through the reg. I don't know what would happen in that mechanism. Stick to the regular stuff there.
Any lube that will stand up to a 100 pound yellowfin tuna's full speed runs, when squeezed between the discs of a drag mechanism on a fishing reel is skookum* stuff.

*NW Indian word for strong, tough, etc.

I bought some evil pus about 2 weeks ago and have used it on my Tes with no problems so far. my boys have used it on a spyder esprit, electra, xtra with esp trigger and have had no problems with any of those either

It's thick like grease so you don't have to use much for it to work and it has kept my TES lubricated very well. I have played twice since I got it and had no problems. I haven't had to put any more on since I put it on the first time.

Yes I did. It doesn't seem to hurt anything there either

Whatever lubricant you decide to use, just make sure it is NOT petroleum (sp?) based. If it is it will eat away at your o-rings, or make them all loose and floppy. No one likes big floppy o-rings!

It hasn't affected the eye on the TES yet, it has continued to fire normally
