I just got this idea in my head for a store.
As we all know, when you buy more you get it cheaper. So why not have a store that is based on that.

My idea is that we have all our products listed and then under each product you have certain categories that you can buy from

buy now, get it now(most expensive)

10 people(cheaper) your name is put on a list with 10 other people and when 10 people are on that list, that order is shipped out to the company

20 people(cheaper) your name is put on a list with 20 other people and when 20 people are on that list, that order is shipped out to the company

50 people(cheaper)your name is put on a list with 50 other people and when 50 people are on that list, that order is shipped out to the company

100 people(cheapest) your name is put on a list with 100 other people and when 100 people are on that list, that order is shipped out to the company

so you may have to wait longer but you would get a better deal, but you could also be able to pick up some sweet deal right away because there might be 99 people on this list waiting to buy a certain product

Good idea?? bad idea??
BTW this would be for paintball stuff

imo, that's a terrible business idea. nobody's going to want to wait for a bunch of people to sign up to buy something, wait for you to place the order, wait for the distributor to ship the product to you, and wait for you to ship to them. it's all a bunch of waiting. and what if not enough people sign up for the product? your customers sit there waiting, then eventually will back out and buy from a reliable source. a store based buying in bulk for groups of people won't survive on that alone.
