Well, here it is. After a lot of work and time this is what we got. This is a prototype and there are going to be a few minor changes made to it before they go into full production. They are going to be available in polished black and silver anodizing at first and then eventually some colours.

How much and i take it it works on 2k2 impulses with the older style solenoid housings, i would love to replace the blade on my oldest impulse and this frame looks like a winner-is it 109 like the cocker frames?

Will it fit without a 15* adapter?

if you got a sidewinder it will, and it looks like it will with a max-flo verticle reg.

The Impulse it is on is an older one. I have had it on a new one as well with the vertical max flow reg and it all fits fine. The over travel and switch contact screws are externally adjustable but the pretravel is not.

looks like a y-frame from an automag, i like it but its not a sleek as i usually like my frames, i will end up later going to an OTB or V3 I-frame

Yes, that is a Shocktech mini drop forward. This is the y-grip...see picture below. It and my frame look nothing alike. To each his own. That is the great thing about paintball. There are plenty of choices out there.

They will be for sale in a few weeks at around $110. You just remove the old frame and install this one in it's place. There are no modifications required.

alright thanks and also with the otb frame grips work?
toothpastedog
01-18-2004, 11:17 AM
it doesn't look like they will. otb grips need 3 srews two on top and one on the bottom, jackel's frame seems like it takes normal grips.

the way the grips fit on the frame is a bit weird don't u think? otherwise i think this is a cool frame!

i actually like it because it lets you use normal sticky grips. i hate the fact that i can only use otb grips with my otb frame.

Exactly why it uses standard grips. I hate being limited to one certain thing and I don't like limiting my products either.

jackel, what colors does it come in, it looks like the one in your picture is unano'ed aluminum.

I think the reason people thought it looked like the Y-grip is cause of the stickies, they look like they are at more of an angle then they really are.
Looks like a great frame Jackel

In the very first post I made about the frame, "They are going to be available in polished black and silver anodizing at first and then eventually some colours."

hey jackel... is there anything about this frame that is "distinguishable" compared with the OTB and the I-Frame? There's gotta be something in order for you to get sales righT?

I don't know if mine is any better than theirs or not....three adjustments, can't get much better than that; and stores will have them for about 90 bucks...I beleive that is quite a bit cheaper...and you can use any std. 45 grips you want....how's that?

Will this grip feel like any other 90 degree frame?
Jackal

I'll assume so......

1 Evil Package:
The frame will only work with the magnetic trigger that it comes with. You can use any Impulse circut with this frame. It is very simple to install. I will PM you when I get the instuctions written out.
As far as returns go, you marr it, or don't have the original package can't return it. If you install it and don't like it, better hope I can't tell it was on a gun.

the trigger looks alot like the omen trigger, which i find very uncomfortable to shoot with. Will there be any more triggers produced? such as a blade style possibly?
Jackal
01-24-2004, 12:25 PM
They should be done by then for sure. I am going to do one more prototype with a few slight changes and then test it and get to producing them. I may make other triggers eventually but not right off.
