2k4 BKO questions

Well first off i ordered a 2k4 bko from shootpaint about a month ago and when all the planets align i should should have it. Anyway does the 2k4 really have all matching anno i haven't seen one picture on a site that seems to suggest it does even though its on shootpaints list of improvements.
Also i read about the reg break in period, would it work if i dry shot around 900 rounds or so because i really don't wanna waste a case of paint for it.

dry firing will work just as well as shooting paint. All your doing is cycling your marker to get everything broken in. Its just more fun to shoot paint then just shooting air. If just dry firing know that your shots out of the tank arent going to be all that great you will loose some efficiency without paint, its not a bad thing just something you should know before doing it so you dont think something is wrong.

I love the all matching anno, feedneck, and HPR, but I dont think the body milling "flows" well.

The milling, ram assembly height, doesnt go well with the rib cuts made above it and towards the front of the gun.

It still looks nice and will look 10X better once you have it in your hands!

It's interesting that the main reg they used is different from what we thought it'd be. IMO I like its look better than the b2k4 but am wondering how they compare in performance.
They also seem to have a 2-piece barrel. No wonder the price went up so much.

The plain milled arent the true 2k4 BKOs. The nicely milled ones are the true 2k4s.

NOTE: My little brother just ordered a 2k4 BKO straight from ICD today with a little bit of help and money from his older brother(me). Ill post pics when it gets here!

That doesnt mean it will ship out tomorrow. If it does, I dont think it will be the new milling.

Also, I just confirmed that it is 4 weeks before the new milling BKOs will be shipping. However, the plain milled BKOs out right now will have the better reg.

I'm getting an unmilled 2k4 I think.

I mean really, I just took a good long look at the milling and reallized I don't like it as much as I thought I did. I really don't think I can wait 3 more weeks for my marker! I'm losin' it. I hate my stupid tippy, I wanna through it out of my car on the highway.

I mean, I like the matched anodizing and all, but I'm probably going to end up buying a 15 degree block anyways. Yeah, an OTB frame too.

The matched ano reg would be neat, but once again I'll probably end up replacing it anyways.

I think the milled out KOs would looked mighty ugle with a bunch of upgraded parts cobbled onto it. Hmm, am I crazy?

I think it should have a dust finish. It'd make it appear less tacky. I don't really care bout the reg and barrel because I'll prob replace those anyways.

and if u don't kno, the new 04 and 3.7 ones have the LPR under the barrel unlike the other 03's whose LPR was paralell to the inline reg.

You would have to tap your asa and find a way to run the LPR hose to the solenoid air chamber.

A lot of machining would be required.

i've heard it's hard to set these guns up, i have a tippmann so i have NO idea what that means can sombody help me out????

The bko/bushy series has never come with a drop, nor has anyother pb marker I have ever seen. The 2k3 bko's, the ones with the new milling will not be out till Feb., the earliest. It's easy to tune the guns if that what your mean and to keep 'em running nicely. You have to clean it and tune the reg's properly like all guns. Read your manual, its short and you will now the answer to pretty much every question.

That's what shootpaint calls it. It's just a 2k4 bko, people are just mistaking it for a 2k3.7 bko. The majority of pb guns do not come with drops. Some pics show a drop some show a stand. They have a cool razor drop for sale tho and clammping feednecks.

I just got my BKO straight from ICD. There sending the 2003.7's right now just to let you all know. I was expecting the real 2004 but now iam happy i got the 2003.7. IT IS COCKER THREADED, and o so sexy:D
