6 Millimeter paintballs

does anyone know anything about the 6mm paintballs that can be fried by some airsoft guns? if i get one of these airsoft guns, would it be ok if i paintballed with 6mm paint?
does it chop easily?

You'd have a tough time getting a quarter sized mark. I wouldn't use them against people who are using standard .68 paint.

Just my opinion but, if you're going to do paintball get a paintball marker. If you want to do airsoft use the airsoft guns. I don't think airsoft markers are allowed in PB play. You would have to check with the field before playing.

Theres no way in hell that a paintball field would let you use paintball bbs, for a few reasons that I can think of, and I am sure there are more.

1. Most fields require field paint.

2. It will be against their insurance policy.

3. Most airsoft guns have much further distances, and also they fire much faster than 300 fet per second.

obviously you have never played airsoft as the guns fire well bellow 230fps...

Actually, I own one that cost me $20 that does 270-290 over chrono...

Many of the sniper airsoft guns do up to 550, as that's the limit in airsoft. Yes, 550FPS, almost 400 mph.

They weigh .12grams... don't hurt much at 300fps, I can't invision them hurting a lot at higher velocities.

you get some pretty good swells w/ airsoft. i just love the full auto modes. u get hit once = expect 6+ more coming your way =P

Obviously I have, as I just sold my airsoft gun (because airsoft sucks) which fired around 400.

Yeah, you can use 6mm paint with airsoft guns, the only prolem with 6mm paint is that if u get a barrel break, its a pain in the a** to clean.

You can't use it with all of them. The paint will be crushed in some guns, depending on the type of magazine/how hard the spring it.
