I am planning on making a place to paintball. I have a large wooded area where i can do it. I have been trying to think of how to lay it out but im not sure how to. Does anyone know a good way to lay it out? I have been thinking of taking old washing machines and peices of tin to make places to hide. I want to make it so there is a base for each team. If you have a good ideas on what i should do please tell me.

i did that. Instead I used 55 gallon barrels. Those worked really good. Also I used sheets of ply-wood.

Get pallets of wood. Your local superstore (wally world, supermarket etc) might have some extras. You can set the pallets up single, as elbows, wedges, tri-bunkers and all out fortified areas. Just my reccomendation.

Well, there's no wrong way to set up a field, except when one team has a major advantage over the other. Keep the number of bunkers on each side the same. Maybe one or two really good fortified ones for each side.......some elbows....yeah...that should cover it.

There are a good bit of small trees in the area i want to set up my field. Should i clear out most of the small trees? Im talkin about 5 foot trees. What about the old fallen trees, they are all small except one very large one i plan to leave for a defense position. Should i remove all the rotten fallen trees?
