what is the best barrel for accuracy (distance) on a spyder xtra thats not ridiculously priced?

It all comes down to paint/barrel match. But for around the $50 range some nice ones are JanJ ceramic, Lapco Bigshot and Taso Eliminator.

Custom Products (CP) Barrels go for about 40 on ebay.... they look pretty cool too...

If it's paint/barrel match the ultimate barrel would be...The Freak, but I guess you might consider it to be more than one barrel.
