how do u set the sear release on the 2k1 cocker?

do you have to take the cocking rod out or anything. also how do you feel you are adjusting anything

Leave the cocking rod screwed in and make sure the gun is not cocked. When you put in the allen wrench you will know it is in the right place because 1) you wont be able to cock the gun and 2) there will probably be some resistance when turning the allen wrench.

i tryed what you said . when it goes down i cant move it at all its really tight and i dont want to force it.
