:confused:When I shoot my Spyder Compact 2k, with co2, after the shoot theirs a weird smell! Is it normal??? :confused:

Its probably just the discharge of co2

Yeah, when unscrewing my CO2 from my bottomline on my Spyder, you can smell it pretty strongly when the gas vents. Usually it doesnt smell when i fire, but then again, I never checked

i think its just a smell they put in the gas so u know something is wrong. (if there is a leak or what not)

hahahahaha....dat was funny..bout da house up ur arse...anyways....yea for science my friend and i did a report and presentation on the science of paintball. we also researched co2. co2 does have a "sour" odor. its normal...its also like that with other guns. also if you put oil in ur CA adapter...it mite also smell like oil. but nitrogen is an odorless gas.

I noticed that smell too. It is the co2- ya know that co2 crud you get in your barrel? Try putting a cartrige and the adapter and just "Let the air out". Don't breath it in- This is Carbon Dioxide- but it disperses and leaves this stench- and in the adapter- you'll find that same crud.

Speaking of nasty smells, VL's paintballs smell like Rotten egs mixed with piss.

That was not cool. Have you tried it with Hpo or Nitro? See if that has the same smell. How many shots per tank do you get?
