Religion Thread Spamming

Over in the off-topic forum there are 5 threads on religion on the front page. I think all of them are started by Ebonclaw. This many threads on a similar subjects to me is spam.

Can we please do something about it? This is really beginning to tick me off.

Well, i dunno. This is kinda of a tough decision because if you were to make 1 religion thread then you wouldn't be able to discuss all the aspects of religion and then the thread would grow into a flame/spam monster.

But all these single religion threads are also really annoying. And a religion forum would be dumb, because it really isnt neccesarry.

I would just ask that instead of making a new thread for everything, first try to make an official religion thread, and then if it gets out of hand we can go from there and discuss and alternative.

I think you should close them all and religion should not be allowed to be posted on the site only through pm... i noticed alot of the religion threads have just turend into flame threads and people putting down others beliefs

Well, in my defense I will add that I started those threads mainly because PEOPLE TOLD ME TO! There's quite a dmeand for them. Why isn't there just a forum? And if you want to call my posts spam, you better damn well read the amount of effort I put into writing them.

Yes but then atiests come in and put them off topic and make them into flame wars i use to go to the threads cus i found them interesting and help full but they end up making all faiths especail Christains look like asses for putting up with evrything

Because 5 threads created over a 1-2 day period doesnt justify the creation of a new forum

Never did i refer to YOUR posts as spam. I reffered to the excess of religious threads as spam.

I purposly stay out of the religion threads because i know they always turn into flame wars, me being atheist and all the christians trying to convert me telling me that jesus loves me, but thats a different story.

Sorry. I was irked Prokchop. But anyway, have you seen the number of hits those things have? There IS a demand for them. As for what Incube says, well, Avatar's gone now so maybe we can have a non-flame war discussion.

Hey, whaddya know, the problem was solved by doing exactly what I suggested, opening a new forum for religion/philosophy. Thanks Andy!
