This isn't really a news post...I am just curious how the site is performing speed wise.

Is the site fast for you or slow?
Does it depend on the time or is it fast/slow all the time?

Seems fast enough for me..speciall with a 56k that runs at 28.8bps..:mad:

But everyonce in a while when I try to submit a reply..it takes a while so I gotta press stop and Press submit reply again.

I run on 56k and it seems kinda slow for me... mostly late at night it takes like 4 minutes just to load a page... but its not to bad I guess.

I have a question, Why does it keep saying I have a new private message, but when I check I don't. It does this like every 10 minutes. Thanks.

After you read it, it still says that until you log out and log back in. If you had one that wasn't read yet it would say,

You have 1 new message(s) since your last visit.
(You have 0 unread messages and ___ total messages in all your folders.)

If you hadn't read it yet it would say...

You have 1 new message(s) since your last visit.
(You have 1 unread messages and ___ total messages in all your folders.)

Oh. Running perfectly for me! :)

It used to be fast until Friday or around there, now it's slow. When I type the letters appear a second and a half later, when I scroll it is slow to go down, and the smilies don't move as fast. Oh yeah I run a 56k.

That's your PC, not your connection. Either IE is running off virtual memory or you're at 100% CPU usage and IE is fighting to get some clock time.

Uhhhh... About 1/2 of a second to load a page. So pretty fast, and about 1 second to post newthread/reply! So its pretty fast, and btw I'm on a T1 Connection

the only complaints i have, are that on about 2 occasions, the site has failed to come up. it will load like halfway, then jsut continue to pretend to load. I dunno if that was from to many users beign on, or just my comp. Thanks for a great site:)

Yea it's fast enough for me....no problems here really....I run 56k modem so it's quite fast....when I go to friends' houses with cable it goes cable speed....I have yet to have problems....usually if there are problems with a website going slow it's a pc problem...(to much stuff on PC)

speed is great and all Seeing how im on a T-1 right now only problem i have encountered is the occacional time out errors during peak times.....not much you can do about this due to the high volume of people sucking up the bandwith.....maybe we could get a "scheduled down time thread " up in the news section so we know when you are taking down something for maintance or even a mod could use it to say he is closing down a thread to clean out all the junk like (the tippmann picture thread gets closed occasionaly for cleaning and also the OT picture thread gets closed for cleaning a lot)

Well i gota dsl :P and it's fast enough for me, i can get all of the a-5 reviews loaded in less than 10 seconds so yea it's pretty fast.
