I have a hinge trigger and it is adjustable. I could get it to where i could barely press it but it would have a lot of play. I like about a 4 mm trigger pull. I like pulling the trigger but you can get it shorter. My trigger pull it about this long ----.

Got the hinge with the bomb trigger pull is --- long (hey a new standard for measuring the trigger pull ! thanks magicsly1) I can prob. get it shorter than that but your right it leaves too much play and is a f*** pain to time right.

One of the guys I play with can piano his Hinge and Bomb set up. He can shoot it pretty fast. Overall, the Eclipse can get a shorter pull because of the design though.

my pull is - long, maybe a tiny tiny bit more. this is tha furthest i could get it with a bomb and a hinge

when you adjust the hinge do you just pull it to the pint where it fires then let go or does it hold the trigger back more so all you have to do is tap it and it hits the back of the frame? also where can you get eclipse blade triggers from?

the trigger stop takes away all the backward slack in the pull. my trigger stops at exactly 2mm. i adjusted it so that it would stop almost right after the cocker fires. if you shorten it too much, the damn thing won't fire anymore, so you will have to lengthen it if you shorten it too much

oh ok. thanks i thought it shortens the pull from the front

yeah, it's from the back of the pull. i have a WGP hinge, so if you have an eclipse, i have no idea how to adjust that.
anything less than a 2mm pull is going to be really ****ty cuz you NEED some pull in a cocker trigger. i have some suspicion that lots of the people are maybe lying about the 1-1.5mm pull, cuz we tried that, and the gun wasn't cycling enough.
and think about it, how in the world is a cocker going to have a 1-1.5mm pull? that's an electro pull, whereas the cocker is mechanical (as you know).
2mm is still a very short pull, but the base of the trigger is actually a little under 1 cm (pull) cuz it's a hinge that pivots. when i talk about the 2mm pull, i'm measuring the distance the timing rod moves in that little window where that rod connects to the trigger frame.
i hope this helps.

ya. 1-1.5 mm pull is 40 to 60 thousanths of an inch. thats real small. can you put a roller sear in a hinge to make it even smoother?

i'm pretty sure the eclipse frame can use a roller sear, but i doubt that the WGP one can be fitted with it.
the WGP pull is pretty damn smooth and crisp already, but the pull may be a bit hard for some people. i think you'll like the WGP, but to be honest with you, I really wanted the eclipse more, mostly cuz you can use all the aftermarket springs for regular frames, and i think it looks a lil better.
