It'll be a nice gun, better than TE's since most of them are still mech. Definitely talk to NN about this.

Good luck.

Pfft
everybody says tippmanns are heavy but i've yet to find out what they're talking about, spose they're only heavy if your weak, or have gone from shooting an x-mag or 03 shocker or something like that back to a tippmann then sure you'd probably notice a difference, but i use my tippmann so often i find it rather light, i'll throw my tippmann fully loaded on a scale sometime and see how much it weights, im guessing upwards of at least 6lbs (im horrble at judging small weights lol)

back on topic
paintballawbko
thats looking like a pretty sweet tippmann your building there, i'd go with an egg2 with either a Y or Z board if needed, the egg holds more paint, good eye, and is plenty fast.
I'd also switch your tank to a crossfire 68/4500, seeing as the new worr tanks are still suffering the new product syndrom with the odd problems here and there.
The max flo is great a great reg, but IMO i prefer an AKA sidewinder hooked up to the VA.
Blade trigger is very nice.
Pipe is an excellent barrel kit, but kits are unnecassary, i think it would be better to go with an 2 piece Ultra lite, with different sized backs if needed. or a CP 2 piece and construct your own kit as you go along.
Then paint your marker if desired.

Thats just my constructive critisizm :) , your set up you listed sounds great i figured i'd just add my $.02 on it.

I'd say go with the ballistic sports ekit over the ebolt.

true on the weight. I have never noticed my custom being heavy. I shot a friends automag and when he handed it to me, I was like "WTF, your tihs (<-) is heavy man" he is a skinny mofo. im talkin 5'6" 105lbs skinny. but he can fight like a 6'6" 300lb guy w/ a gatling gun in each hand. :biglaugh: j/k @ soaka.

in other words, you plan to drop $1,000 and 3 dollars on a m98.

you know what you can do w/ 1003 dollars... a more compact gun and a hell lot more.

good luck. ill be at the sidelines laughing.

then again, you could go diamond plate your m98, i could care less.

do what you like, but please, think... 1000 into a m98.

Agreed. I've upgraded my Tippy as far as I'm going to. I'm gettin a Z Timmy and HPA tank for about $1100 after/during the summer. I can't wait. :D

you will regret it later.

E R Y K, thats his reasoning for pimping out his tippmann, although i agree with everyone about upgrading to much is a waste, the only other thing im getting for mine is a drop, then all the rest of my money this year will go towards paint and tourny fees, and maybe to the cocker/impulse fund (still deciding which:) )

true, although for the $1000 he's putting in to it he could easily get ain used mag with the works, or a pimp cocker, or even a viking, then just use the tippy as a back up. i dont see what the problem is, really if you make the money then you should be able to spend it on whatever you want.

Why won't your parents let you get a new gun? If it's because they don't want you wasting too much money then they sure wouldn't let you put so much into your tippmann. I can't really see a good reason other than that.

Ive spent

98C - 135
RT - 78
VA - 25
Palmer stab - 92
rocket cock - 25
CO2 16&20oz w/ A/S - 65
smart parts drop - 8
lapco bigshot - free as gift
freak 14" - 68
empire reloader - 50
lapco direct feed and aci elbow - 35

that adds up to about 580. and thats including the marker itself. Also, not counting a harness, mask, marker case, tank covers, etc. but I dont consider that an upgrade for the marker, since I would need these things no matter what marker I shot.

I am through too. There is nothing else that I want for my marker. I already feel guilty about spending that much on what I have, simply because I coudlve spent that money on other more important things like utilities, or mortgage, or groceries even. Do you know how much groceries you could get for that price. Thats about 4-6 months worth of food. its a good thing that I own my vehicle, no payments, but I gotta do oil changes, air filters, etc. and that adds up.

Its up to you though since its your money youll be the one missing it. To me that is more than I am willing to spend on my paintball equipment. I would rather be at the field ballin, than at home starring at my upgrades.

thats me though

:)

OOPS: I forgot about grips...thats another 20, so about 600 total for me.

go for the imp IMO, awesome stock reg, good stock barrel, very small and tight, ripping power.
just throw a egg2 on there and rip it up

if you dont get an ebolt dont get a halo B that would be a wast of $$ you could get a ricochet that would keep up with it without spending $140
