Hey I am buying my first gun. I have had about 4 games worth of experiance. However, I want to get a lot more serious about the sport. Thus, I want to buy a gun that will serve me well for all the playing that I will do.

I have my I on the Kingman Spyder Fenix. I just wanted to know if anyone had that gun and what they thought of it. Also, does anyone have a better gun that they would recomend in that price range ($230)?:(

as far as spyders go, no single stock model will perform better than the other (besides electro vs. mech). you're paying extra for looks when you buy a fenix. it'll be an equal match for the spyder imagine which is considerably less pricey. if you don't mind shelling out extra dough for a prettier marker, go right ahead. all in all spyders are great markers in general. they're the marker i recommend most to new players. in your case, choose between looks and economics. with the $100 you save by buying an imagine you can buy a nice custom products one piece barrel (very good barrel) and a reloader hopper to keep you from chopping when shooting fast. trust me, the imagine with those two parts will be much better than a stock fenix.

As Amzng said, no electro Spyder will out perform another electro Spyder out of the box.

That being said I would suggest that you get a Spyder Imagine with a CP 1 piece barrel and an Empire Reloader. And you will still have money left over for a field fee so you can actually play:)
