I have the stock Imp with gadget grip (#4565) and I'm currently using 20 oz CO2 with Anti-siphon and SP ON/Off valve.

I want to switch to a HPA tank 3000psi or 4500psi.

I've read the old forums and I still don't understand what I need to do to run a HPA. Can my current Max Flo handle HPA?

I want a 45/4500 but I don't have $400 to sink into an air system. What's a cheap and decent way to switch to HPA without risking any damage to my gun/solenoid/reg?

Do I need a certain tank, vert reg, or anything?

All you need to do is buy a decent screw in HPA tank and you will be fine.

The Impulse is designed to run on HPA or CO2.

Check with FOM at www.e-paintballoutlet.com He can tell you which tanks work best on an Impulse and then he can sell you one at a great price.

Just ask your local Impulse forum Mod, he is fan #1 in the e-paintballoutlet fan club....also ask Killer Kat about the tatoo of Craig he has....but don't ask where it is :D

Don't change from nitro to CO2 on a weekend basis, you'll mess up your seals real badly. Switching weekly won't be a problem.

I switched in one day and luckily nothing happened.
