Is it possible for nitro to burst like co2?

My co2 burst disc blew open as i was in the car driving home and was wondering if nitro tanks could do the same.

and no, not in the way that a co2 tanks burst disk will blow from expanding. however, nitro tanks can be over-pressurized and the resulting burst is extremely dangerous.
