Just to let everyone know...I neither DON'T want to nor CAN'T buy the aluminum grip frame w/ Blade Trigger because I have an E-Grip soooooooooo... I just want to turn my regular, plastic double trigger into a blade like the guy in the picture above did.

Yeah, I saw it.
I don't know any way to turn a regular double trigger into a blade without filing it.
Could he have made a new trigger?

He must've filled it then. 'Cuz if you look at it closely you can tell that it was a regular double trigger by the grooves and the way the grooves are shaped. Bah. Maybe theres a way to do it without filling it though...hmmmmmm.

try using a dremel drill and the sand paper attachment. wear glasses, though, the plastic chips really hurt.

Spyderman could you please inform me on how this would work? (I mean the dremel/sand paper thingy majigy) I mean...how would you use them to change the trigger?

if you don't know what a dremel drill is, it's like a small power drill with many useful attachments. if you attach the sand paper wheel you can sand down that hump on your trigger with the dremel very quickly.

take out trigger. take it to a machine shop. tell them you need the top to be exactly like the top of the stock trigger, but give them a picture of a nice blade trigger and tell them you want it to look like that. shouldnt be too hard to accomplish if they have your stock trigger to base dimensions and design from. especially if they have CNC milling. OR you could cut like the bottom part of the trigger off and custom mold a bottom metal piece that is like a blade trigger. use a small screw and cement to attach it together and use the same screw that attaches them together as a set screw to eliminate over travel. if that makes any sense.

Blade Trigger:
1.) Do what Bgredjeep did. Take a GTA Double Trigger and sand down the front flat.
2.) Take the stock trigger. Cut off most of it. Create a blade extension out of something (metal, wood, plastic). Epoxy it on. Put on a double trigger frame or cut out a section of the stock one.
3.) Buy the frikin J&J 45 Grip!

i dont think he filed it down. i think he made his gun electric cuz i dont c a pin for the resp trig behind the blade triger. it could be a custom frame

Omg...
TRICKS! I know how Bgrdjeep made his trigger! We are both Tippmann forum members! He sanded down the front of a GTA Double Trigger! This could be used on an E-Grip or R/T or just stock! Tipp98Whisper, while it would be VERY difficult and time consuming, you could fit an E-Grip into a J&J 45 Grip, but you are probably better off doing one of the top 2 mods.

Doesn't putting a halo on an A-5 completely defeat the purpose of buying it?

lol yep it does but...what does that have to do with this thread? :P
oh and PBKorin, i kno that this mod can be used on both the rt and egrip BUT, thats not what i need to kno. i mainly want to know how he filled in the back so it didnt get too thin.

He didn't file the back. He filed the front using a dremel. Try to do it as little as possible so as to keep as much structural integrity in the trigger as possible. Just enough to make is basically flat.
