I am wondering if i should spend the extra money to get a Shutter over theTl Plus. Even if i decide to get the shutter i may be able to find it on ebay for just as cheap as the tl. Let me know what to do i am 15 and i have been playing for a month using rentals. This would be my first gun (i won't count the talon and a gun).

Shutter. I own one. Love it. A newbie shot sand through it. I Cleaned it. Works like new. I'm tired of answering this damn question because I have answered so many just like it. Just...take my word for it. Shutter.

I say TL+. With the money difference, you could get a CP barrel, be cheaper than a Shutter, and shoot more accurately. :) No side "Vision" vents either, where dirt could get in! :D

Same gun basically without the crappy regualtor that the shutter comes with. Spend the xtra (no pun intended) money on a barrel. www.bbtpaintball.com has new TL+'s for $139.99

I beg to differ on the "crappy reg" part. Mine works beautifully. Guess there's apparently some bad apples though.

Take the shutter, no doubt about it.

Well, a stock Compact 2000 will shoot just as accurately as a stock Shutter, and it's about $100 less, so I'd go for that instead, and spend the $100 on worthwhile upgrades. :)

Why is it Hsuve always beats me to it...Compact2k all the way. Save your money for upgrades. Maybe a CP barrel and a used WGP reg with macroline or ss braid to a nice drop forward. You could get that for 100 bucks.
