a question about the diablo mongoose LCD paintball marker

i was wondering how good is the diablo paintball marker if it is good or bad tell me some weekneses and strengths about it.

its basically a spyder clone works the same as any spyder. It does shoot 20 bps but when are u ever gonna shoot that fast and ur gonna waist so much paint if u do. And in tournys u can shoot auto. THis gun looks sweet and shoots fast . If u wanna get it it a good gun for the price but it the same as any other spyder only thing dif is looks and bps.

i've had my mongoose for about 3 months now, and it's awsome. it does work the same as a spyder, and most of the aftermarket stuff fits. At my local store, 'mongoose' parts are hard to find, but I've gotten by scavenging spyders. It does have two weakness that I have found. First thing to do if you get one of these is buy a rechargeable battery and a charger. This thing will eat regular 9v's. The one that came in the box with mine wouldn't even fire the gun, energizers are good for about 1100 rounds. My other gripe is the feed. It looks cool, but the guy who designed it, missed his target. It is made out of the foil you peel off a gum wrapped. O.K. I'm just crying because mine is broken. It came loose (I'm told is common for screw in feeds), so I tightend the screws on the collar and bent it, that in turned stripped the threads on the neck. Now the guy at the store who sold me the gun doesn't know how long it will take to get a new one-he did offer to sell me a blue one off a focus. I bent it back straight, filled it with glue and put it in a vise. I've played 4 weeks that way and it works.
The BEST feature of this gun is the options on the LCD. It has 4 modes. semi, burst (any number you want from 2 balls to 20, just hold the trigger), turbo (same shot number as burst, but faster, and the best auto feature I've seen on any my friends guns. In auto mode, YOU set the speed. I like about 7 bps. That is slow enough I can get off the trigger after one ball, and fast enough to really lite someone up.
I'm really happy with mine. I've used it almost every weekend since I got it. Once I turned the b/p/s down, it quit chopping paint. It's pretty acurate straight out of the box. And the thing just looks bad .

This gun shoots fast and very accurate i love all the firing modes. but its sucks the life out of batteries so buy rechargable but other wise it is awesome. i dont know why alot of pepole are saying the grip sucks cause ive had mine for like 3 or 4 months and it is just as good as new.:cool: buy this gun if you want a good inexpensive gun.
