here is an honest suggestion. when I got the RT and shot it, I couldnt believe how fast it was. I had originally purchased an empire reloader, and when I shot fast, it chopped quite a bit. I couldnt afford the price of a halo or an eggy, but I could afford a lapco direct feed and aci elbow. I know it isnt as low profile as the stock elbow, but since I put it on it, I have not had a chop yet. It holds 8 balls in the elbow compared to only 5 in the stock elbow. And the bend of the elbow is not right where ball goes into the breech like it is on the stock. It is a straightshot into the breech w/ the direct feed and it is a quality product. I got it for about 30 bucks from county paintball, and I am totally pleased with its performance. Ill bet that if you put the direct feed on there you will be fine w/ the Rico.
If you dont want that then get either one you can afford. the halo will not be an overkill for the RT. HALOs are very nice too! I like the look of the halo vs. eggy 2.
In the mean time, turn down the air flow on the RT, turn it up until you have chop problem again, then tune it down just a hair, and you will be around the max feed rate of your hopper.

Egg2, can be used for future markers if needed.
cheaper method, just turn down your RT
yakitori had an interesting idea. If you don't want to do that an egg2 will definitly do the trick. My friend has an egg for his shocker and his rt 98 and it works awesome for each. He hasn't outshot it yet.

How do you turn down the RT, Isn't it the farther out the knob is the slower it will shoot????

the farther out the more flow the faster you shoot

EggII is nice, but I would get a new detent if you decide on it. I can't hardly use my egg on my tippy because I still have the stock detent and it feeds with too much force.

its just good to know that there is always a ball in the chamber.
if you get a bad egg, good luck.
you might want to read my review before you go buy it.
