I was playing a nice, friendly paintball game when my gun goes crazy and has double-shot and triple-shot bursts of CO2. Then I tried it with my vertical and it works like a charm... I have a macroline hose and a PMI x-chamber. So what is wrong with my gun???

I'm sorry if i didn't word it correctly.
I meant to say:

After I removed the expansion chamber and hose, and ran my CO2 tank directly veritcal, no problems occured.

chaeck your airpassages for blockage. It sounds like it was not getting enough air to the gun to recharge. try blowing throught the x chamber and hoses. it should be easy. if it is not, you need to clean it.

I checked it and it is clear. I haven't even had a chance to use my x-chamber because it's always been messing up.

I was using a full co2 tank.....

Was the tank overfilled? that could be the problem...

I'm pretty sure it wasn't overfilled. The guy was a trained professional.....If that means anything.

It sounds like you were getting liquid CO2 into your marker and freezing up the valve enough so that it wouldn't close properly, therefore letting more air into the maker and making it go full auto for a bit. Atleast thats what it sounded like you were saying was wrong. The reason then that the marker worked fine when you went to a verticle bottle setup was because that prevented liquid CO2 from entering the marker. That would also exlplain why it didn't look like there was anything wrong with the marker. The valve would unfreeze after a few seconds and be fine. A solution to this would be to get an anti-siphon tube installed into your tank. I hope this helps, i'm pretty sure I understood what you were saying was wrong.

or it could be the fact that you purchased one of the crappiest markers on the market

macroline tends to not like CO2 either. Try getting a steelhose.

Most likely the pin in your bottomline adapter is too short. The valve on your tank doesnt open fully and the marker doesnt get enough gas. As a result your maker fails to recock after a cycle. Try a new ASA for your bottomline, or a different tank

Ok check the Inside of the vertical adaper. See if anything is messed. Then look in the lines adapeter check to see if anything is bent or messed. Check the expansion chamber to see if the hose is fully glued or whatever into the side or bottom... i think the expansion chamber is faulty personaly. Check all O-rings and oil them.
Why the hell would you put an expansion chambewr on that gun it would cost more then the gun.???!?! It also could be the gun shouldnt have a expansion chamber

The point zero is a great gun for a newbie...People give it crap because it's made of plastic. Plastic is very durable and I've hit it against tons of things and it never shows a mark...My gun outshot a Tippmann Custom 98 and that guy was really good....

If that tells you anything..
