I know the Omen barrel is good.. How many of you have upgraded it..

and are you happy with the performance of the new barrel? I dig the look and the specs (working like a 2 piece) of the omens barrel, but I was wondering if a new barrel is a good upgrade.

I have a pipe on mine to stop roll outs. Obviously the pipe has a better finish inside too. I wouldn't replace the stock with a lower end barrel. If you only use one paint then maybe an Ultralight or something. I love my pipe kit though.

With these new Omens (the splash colors) you should be able to pick an Evil Pipe when you buy it, so it's annoed the same. That'd be phat.....

still using the stock barrel. went through a dye stainless, and a smart parts all american, and the stock barrell shoots as good if not better, and looks right at home on the gun.

Just to tell you guys in a recent pic tippmann effect one of the players had a stock evil omen barrel on his marker

how...omen's are cocker threaded. maybe it was a driver? but i doubt they are using stock omen barrels.

i upgraded for better paint to barrel size matchup but thats the only reason, the correct paint in the stock barrell is scary accurate

I too have bought a Pipe kit... I bought it for the price(120 shipped with 2 tips) and for the ability of matching whatever paint i am using. But i still use the stock barrel regulary

I think they used a thread adaptor ill look for a pic

could be an adapter. i still don't get why though. you can get all kinds of barrels for the a-5. whatever floats their boat though.
