Ok guys, I hope I'm not annoying anyone, but I had pretty much decided on the the J&J Ceramic when I friend at school told me to go with the Nyte Stikk since it's cheaper and from his experience better. Anyway, I just wanted to do a lil vote on here. The average rating for both barrels on here is about the same, with Ceramic winning by a few tenths. Most of the complaints about the Nyte Stikk were acuracy, and that's one of the things I'm really going for. Here is what I'm looking for with most important listed first, Accuracy, Distance, Ease Of Cleaning, Quite! Thanks guys.

One of my team mates lives for shooting a Nyte Stikk. He just bought a Freak kit & still uses the Nyte Stikk more. I my self like the LAPCO Bigshot for meidium bore paints. They're a little loud but shoot great.

I have a J&J Ceramic and it's great. It's accurate, quiet, and it's real easy to clean.

i own a 14in Nyte Stikk it looks beasty on my 98 it comes with spiral porting im not sure if that does anything besides making it a little quieter and harder to clean when you have a ball break
i've never shot trough a J&J ceramic so i cant really compare them but i do recommend the nyte stikk as a cheap stock barrel replacement

Humm...seems like everything I do, all signs point to the ceramic. I'm not sure what I'll be shooting. I used to think I was gonna shoot PMI premium or Super Swirls, but now I found out there is a place just south of my town that sells some good paintballs really cheap, so i may just drive the 20 min and save the $$ and get better paint. I think in one of my other posts someone said the J&J is medium to small bore so it will work well with most paints (since there aren't really that many large bore paints on the market, they used "most").

I would go with the ceramic because my friend has one and that is very accurate and quiet.

The Terminator/elminator is about the best allaround barrel in my opinion. The J&j is great but very small bore and loud LOUD! the terminator or eliminator are med bore and very quiet and as accurate as the J&j. If you can afford the term and the ceramic you are set for anything but brass egeal paint.

I vote ceramic. I own one and love it. When sand got shot through my gun I carefull cleaned the barrel. Not a scratch.

Anyone else see the "Paintball Times" barrel and paint test? The J&J Ceramic did extremely well in that test.

i would never consider a J&J ceramic lower end it may be cheaper than most barrels but it isnt lower end!!
it is one of the best barrels out there and you cant beat the price!

I like Custom Products.
They are very nice barrels. They are accurate and quiet and dont have that much porting. They are fairly easy to clean and i like the design of them.
I also like the CP Pro Barrel Kit.

I have the nyte stikk and think its great. There is another guy that i play with and he has the J&J. I would think we shoot about the same.
So its a matter of prefference. I think the nyte stikk looks better.

i would never use a night stick. the ceramic is a much better barrel. the bigshot is ten dollars more and its more accurate but anyway i would not use a 32 degrees barrel.

Well...OK...I have a 32* carbon fiber and I love it. You know how they say they regain 90% accuracy 3 shots after a break...well they **** you not! However That's about the only 32* barrel I would recomend. Don't even consider the NiteStick over the J&J. The J&J wins hands down. The only other economical choice I would make is a cp or lapco ss bigshot...the bigshot will run about 15-20 more but it's worth it. They are IMHO the finest made barrels in production today. Yes IMO better than dye... They are loud but deadly accurate medium bore barrels that take a wide variety of paint and wont cost an arm and a leg.

oh my god the ceramic sucks!!!!! my bro has one and breaks at least 1 ball every 50 :pissed: . hes tried dif barrels, and none of them break paint. the stock barrel on any gun would be better. get a armson, or if tight on $$$ get a bigshot.
