Hello. I am planing to move up in markers. I currently have a pretty upgraded tippmann M98. I was looking at high end paintball guns that were cheap. I was looking at the mini mag and they looked like something I might want. So is this a really high maintenence gun? Or is it basic oil and go? Also anyone know where to get a mini-mag for cheap?

Maintence: Very easy. Wipe off paint, keep it oiled, and have spare parts on hand for a 5 minute swap job.
Find one cheap: EBAY!
Try:
http://cgi.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1014406628 (a good deal)
http://cgi.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1646279611 (awsome deal right now at $202)
http://cgi.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1014150759 (might be good, depends on the reserve)
You get the idea
I would suggest shooting one before you buy. The trigger is not like an M98.

A minimag is made by Air Gun Designs, while the micromag is made by Pro Team Products with permission from AGD. The minimag has a separate body rail and the stainless steel body with the "cooling holes" punched in it, while a micromag has a one piece milled aluminum body/rail. While the minimag has the regular twist lock barrel, the micromag takes autococker threaded barrels. Usually, the micromag has the Retro Valve in it, while the minimag has the 4 star AIR valve. As far as weight and size, the micromag is both smaller and lighter. You also pay quite a bit more for the custom body, the lighter weight and the nice anodizing job that usually accompanies the micromag.

You should get a powerfeed mag from PBgear and spend the rest of your money on a good nitro system or uprgading the mag. Thats what i would do in your situation.
