Ok, new guy on the fourm here look out
After putting on a palmer stab. Changeing out to a low rise, nickle plateing my ASA (lapco), Putting a ripper frame and chaos chip in, Getting ready for a anti chop eye to go in (when winter starts) and basicly going nuts on my 2k1, I got one question.
Curently with the palmer on it, I have a +/- of about 3 FPS at the crono, I want better.
1)is it worth doing the mod to use the Rock LPR on it?
2)If so, who has a line on anyone who can make the adapter for me?
and last, YES i will post a picture soon as the shrubmiser is done. Winter brings the antichop eye, and some milling work. Then off to get a purple tigerstripe 2 color done on it.

The rock is a very good reg that would probably be better than the stock reg. There are other LPrs made for the bushy you probably know of that arent that bad either. The rocks are just the standard so you cant go wrong with them. You can get them soon at www.paintballtrader.com in the vapor section and there is also another one Ive seen but it was very pricey.
This may not make your velocity better however. Other things such as polished moving parts, after market internals, consistant paint, good paint/barrel match, good nitro tank- may give you better results. If youve taken care of all of these then maybe you should try out the rock.
And if you have really fast trigger finger(say 15+) you may get some shoot down which you cant really do anything about.

The vapor Rock adaptor is out at the end of the month! Already have mine on order. Will change out to a micro-rock and let everyone know how it works. On a side note, am going to change the nipple on the micro out for a angled SS one. You can pick this up at any hobby store. They are used for the fuel lines on model airplanes.

I love my ripper, the trigger has zero slop to it, and it seams to fit my hand better.
As to where I got it, I have no clue. I had mike "papa goose" noble from I&I sports do the work for me. Mike is the shrubmizer god up here in north CA.

LOL! man you guys are nuts!! The thought of hanging a palmer off the front of my bushy is making me sick ;) I love my Sonic LPR - it was actually made for the bushy and small.

LOL,
Dude sonics suck. First off You can get what? at best a +/- of 4? mabey 3. I know, I had a sonic. Mater of fact I had to go thru 4 before I got one that would keep the gun within a stablity of +/- 3 FPS. I sold that pile of junk.
With a micro on my bushy I am at +/- 1 or less FPS. I never have to touch it. The thing is dead on every shot.
Don't belive the hype people. Sonics are smaller true, but they are no where near the quality or reliablity of a micro rock. I will agree the gun looks a bit goofy with that palmer hanging on the end. However you wont regret the change.

Hmmm... I guess you must be really unlucky - I liked my LPR so much that I got some of my friends to buy them:) . Anyway, only one of the ones that I installed was only holding about +-5fps, but when I emailed macdev they told me that it may take 500 rounds to wear in - sure enough when I tested it again it was rock solid and has been ever since!!! Maybe yours just needed to wear in.
My consistancy depends only on the paint now - good paint=+-0 :D
