for your own bennifit, go with a metal gun, pick the one that has the most metal on it, plastic guns, tend to have, lets say a bad rep. soo id go for teh gun with the most metal, and a semi is not that much more expensive, you can always get a used gun too.

Thanks for advice, I already know that. I have a tricked out Impulse and a chrome minimag right now. I just wanted a pump for rec play, cause I hate running my nice impy through woods and stuff thats all. Thanks for the adivce again it is good see people giving others a hand. By the way I am selling my minimag if you are interested

well im not really into mags, cause im running co2, but i am interested in the impulse, but if your not seeling it can you just tell me what you have done to it, i am interested in buying one, and would liek some advice on upgrades etc.

Well I am definately not interested in getting rid of the Impulse. I haven't done a great deal of stuff to. To Start it has a gadget grip, if you are looking for iimpulse either get it with a vertical regulator, or with a gadget grip. Then I have some clear Dye Sticky Grips, vertical high rise put on it, and a trigger job done by imperial (man the trigger is so lite its not even funny!!!!!!) When I first started playing with it I almost shot myself in the foot on a couple occasions. I am looking to bu some delrin internal in it like a new bold etc as well. WHy do you say get one with a vertical reg or a gagit grp, im guessing cause of hanging on to it. but if i go vert.reg then what reg will i have to get, a different one?:eyes: :confused: :| , because i here that the max flow regs are great, and I dont want to have to use a lower end reg if i dont have to. but how much on average is the gagip grip, or the vertical reg, because teh vertical shocker is much more then the 4x4 around $200 from what i see. also who is this Imperial guy or company or whatever?????Also about the vertical high rise, I don't think it is for me because of the higher hopper, I HATE HOPPER HITS:pissed: but how much extra was it ne way? I was going to bye sticky grips for my old tippy, but never got to it, i think i will get the green ones from 32* just to be different thoguh and then have a coulor sheme to go on from, Do any after market parts, like that vertiacal reg come in different coulors? also, where did you buy yout imp, and how where there prices? how much did you spend on your stock?

Ok well lets start off by anwser a few quick questions.

Gadget Grip---- I say buy a gadget grip for the simple reason, that you have something to hold on too, cause normally it would just be some macroline and its not fun. Also if purchase your marker with the gadget grip it tends to be cheaper then buying one with out and upgrading later.

Vertical Reg---- As far as I know the vertical regs are made by smarts parts as well. I suggest this cause some people don't like having the max flo at the bottom. Yes is most cases it is more expensive. If you have no preference where the max flo is, go gadget grip and keep the max flo under the trigger frame.

Colours----- I have seen lots of impy's with flashy colours. But, with colour comes more money. If you want a real falsy gun, that is considered one of the best mad Impulses, get the Eclipse Impulse.

Imperial--- is a comapny , that specializes in mods for the shocker and the impulse. They do trigger jobs, have may parts etc. There is anoter place in the states that works with mainly Impulses, I can't remember off the top of myhead though.

I bought my which had been used for 5 weeks, so most of the upgrades were already there. Sometimes you can get some deals in these forms for shockers and Impulses. the best place on the net I think I have seen Impulses are

Im also Canadain, I live in Ontario, near a town called Lindsay, Its about a hour- a hour and a half north of toronto.
I would by my gun from a store, not online, thanks for the chapions website, i didnt know they had one, nor was sure where they were located, i think i will get a impulse with gagit grip and thats all, beacuse im selling my old m98 and flatline and accesories for 525 with a tank, and I will add a 150 or so to that and get the imp and gagip grip, but i dont know wearther to get a new one righ tnow or wait till the winter is over, but i know in teh winter we are heading to area 51 a few times :D ratehre then out outdoor one, seeing that it will be snowed out, I might have to put some more money though, because i want a 16oz on/off and antisyphon co2 tank, and all i got right now is a 9 which will be sold and a 12 pin valve:| but i dont know of anywhere that sells a antisyphon Co2 tank, i know badlands and champions dont have any on ther website
but i guess i will have to call em sometime
also do you think badlands could do a trigger job on a impulse cause they have a sertified shocker tech guy there.

well I know that badlands will put antisyphons in their tank, Ithink maybe its like 10 bucks extra, I am not 100% sure though. Thats cool that you live in Lindsay, I am in Kingston Ontario. I just competed in the Rookie division in the Golden Triangle the past Saturday. It was a riot. Yeah I should be visiting Area 51 soon as well, I got to mee the owner last saturday, Larry. As for badlands doing trigger jobs I am not sure, I don't see why they wouldn't be able to it cause they are shocker certified, but you will have to ask. Ask them if they can do the job, and what triggers they have. Cause if they can do the job but the triggers suck get one from Imperialpaintball.com They have great triggers!!!!! Also after a while of having the Impulse I would recommend getting a drop forward cause it will balance your gun a lot better. Well I am gald to hear that I could help you out a little bit, if you need any more advice or have any questions I can try and answer them the best of my knowledge. Hey if you know anyone who wants a Chrome Minimag, with extras and 3 barrels, let me know, cause I am selling mine.
