hey I just ordered the spyder xtra and I heared that the hose leakes and that you should get a steel braided hose. What length hose should I get? Then I heard that would need adapters for that hose. What size and kind should I get? Also, where can I get these products?
Thanks.

How about you wait and see if the hose actually leaks? Mine did at first, but after I put some paintball gun oil on each end of the macroline it stopped leaking.

Gun oil wil acually make it stop leaking? Why does the hoes leak anyway? Are they that cheap?:|

Blindseamen, do you still run the stock hose, or did yo get a steel hose to?

My Xtra leaked after about 4000 shots through it. And yes they are that cheap. Microline is the devil. Here is what you should get:

One 6 inch steel braided hose

Two metric to US adaptors

This is what I have on mine and it works great.

Yes, at least in my situation some gun oil made it stop leaking. Its not that macronline itself is bad, its just that the connectors which kingman sends are not the best quality. I have played almost every weekend this summer (at least 7 cases of paint) and its still running fine. I just oil the macroline when I would oil everything else like the bolt and striker.

P.S. Its not microline its macroline.

How thick is the line...I'm pretty sure it is microline and not macroline...but i'm not posative. Macro line is as thick as ss braid but last time I saw an extra the hose was micro not macro.

Its macro, micro is very small. Plus, I bought a macroline kit and adaptors so I could hook it up to my reg and it fit fine with one connector stock, and one from the kit. Look at the pics on my website to see it hooked up to the reg.

Its a bad picture, but here is some micro:
