well i just got it and i didnt know much about it so when i was done shooting it i went to go twist the tank off the back and when i was trying to take it off co2 was shooting everywhere so i quikly unscrewed it and the o-ring had melted,so i went and put a new o-ring on and screwed the tank back on,i put a few paintballs in and i pulled the trigger and it was acting like a semi-auto,was this because there was hardly any co2 in the tank or a problem with my striker.
please help me!

It's because your tank was low, so dont worry, your gun should be fine. Fill up the tank and it'll probably work, guns go "full auto" like that because there is not enough pressure for your gun to recock, so it sends the hammer back, but not far enough to catch the sear, so it goes back at the valve and restarts the process

i thnk he's talking about when you take off the co2, the gas from the gun escapes...and freezes the oring..

hm.....u know how some ca adapters...when u take off da tank too fast......the oring"melts" and looks like its melted onto the tank? well...how come that happens? i'd expect it to look frozen at least. i mean..my tippmann stock ca adapter doesnt do that...but my friend's spyder does.
