Newest addition to my 98Custom

hey all, I just bought a CP1pc from actionvillage for my 98C. I hope to have a picture up in the tippmann picture thread soon of my current setup. Heres the link to the barrel picture. Tell me what you think.

Sexy eh? I got tired of having my whole marker black. Everyone seems to have a black barrel for the 98Custom, so I thought Id give it a spin. I already have a bigshot, and I am pleased w/ its performance, but since everyone keeps saying CP1pc or bigshot for a model 98, I decided to have both. That, plus I sold my freak jr for 55 bucks and this barrel cost 54.50 shipped. Hellya, a 50 cent profit. hehe:D

I know its more of a barrel thread, but since Im concerned w/ how it looks on my 98C, and there are hella flatline threads in here, what the hay?

I dunno, I dont think green and black would go that well together.....but who really cares how it looks? I mean I'd rather have a really nice performing bright pink gun with poka dots all over than a sexy black one that is a POS.

What bore size and length is it?

I noticed that the picture doesnt have an O ring too. I will use my stock one if I have to.

the CP is a 12" .689 bore barrel.

Gaay? :cool: I like gaay looking stuff, they have better taste than straight ppl. :D J/K. BTW, why does text edit out gaay, thats a bit conservative. I will post pics of my marker and Ill bet you change your mind. I have a Spectra thermal nForcer mask w/ green vent inserts and a faded smoke lenz. I also have freak grips and tank cover. Ill bet the green will look badazz on my tippy. Ill let you know when I get some pics up in the tippmann picture thread.

I got green because cammo sickens me. everyone looks the same w/ cammo crapola. Its ugly, for hunting, and military. I can acheive a camo effect w/ regular black and green parts. Gaay? Gaay ? WTF.

I don't think it looks that hot either, but, I'm not the one using it so I'll shut up about it looking bad.

Socom is right, if it works who cares how it looks.

It'll be interesting to hear if the vaunted CP 1 piece is as good as everybody says. Yakitori, I KNOW you won't be pulling any punches if it's not what it's cracked up to be.

ya, I hear you guys. I know you all may not like green, but I kinda like it. Ive already had a black sp freak, bead blasted Bigshot, and a black stock barrel. I just get tired of seeing an all black gun. everyone else has a black barrel and since Ive had three other ones, I thought Id get something different. Its not chrome, red, blue or some other color that sticks out a lot, and thats why I decided on green. Plus I like the look of the green model on pbgear.com than the style of the other Cp1pc on there. Go there and look, you will see that the green 12" is a different barrel than the other classic barrels. I think it looks good. We will see when I get it.

Thanks though, I kinda like the fact that it is annoying to ppl. I have an annoying haircut. I wear annoying clothes. I shoot an annoying looking tippmann. Those cocker and angels owners get very annoyed w/ me. This is getting annoying isnt it? :P

I know. :D this threads gotten more hits than many others that have been up here for over a week. Everyone has a preference, and what looks good to me may look bad to others, but I dont go around saying "it looks reallllly gayyy"

Ill let everyone know when I try it out. Ill set up a test for it, and Ill give you guys a comparison summary. I will do the test w/ premiums and then other not so good paint (like galyans or something cheap). Ill write down my methods, data, and conclusion for everyone. hows that?

I think green would give his marker a nice unique look that would separate it from the crowd. We'll see from the pictures though.
