See I am looking for a place to play paintball other than my house and was wondering if it would be ok to play on Conservation land. At this place I am thinking would be perfect is out in the middle of nowhere and is where they deer hunt and skeet shoot every now and then. I think shooting clay pigeons by the hunders with a shotgun that hold 1 ounce of steel is bad all in itself. Exleast paint washes away and the paintball plastic decenigrates after time. So what is bad about it???? Would you play there or would you not?? Especially on off season. thanks

you would need permission from the state if it's on state property. i play on state property, but we must obey their rules in exchange for a place to play (ie, no garbage left over, no building of bunkers, no paint grenades, everybody must play safe).

Sounds like that'd work. But yeh..you can't just go running through the streets and shooting each other.
Btw spydy. Is your "field" have anything of the sort of good bunkers? And do they make you wash your paint off the bunkers?

we use the trees, hills, and natural "trenches" as bunkers. we were able to build a couple bunkers out of large broken branches. the rain washes the paint off for us.

If there are people there shooting clay pedgeons and targets and deer, then you might want to think about that. It could end up like you're in the middle of a game, you look to your right and there's a target, and then the last thing going through you're head is a 243 rifle bullet... ya know that would hurt. So make sure it's safe.

The skeet shooting only happens eveynow and then and the only thing alowed for killing deer is a bow. Plus it is not a huge hunk of land. I am not stupid!!!

now that I think about it the field I play at is public. It has tire for bunkers and big metal sheets. And little play school chairs as bunkers.

me and some of my friends play behind a kids house, and go into the woods that are owned by the country club. we dont shoot the rich bast***s playing golf, or tanning by the pool (people arent tanning by the pool right now, its 15*) but they dont seem to really care if we play there.:D

It depends on how big the place is, what wildlife lives there, etc. I would definetly ask for permision first.

Careful. First check your state, county, and city ordinances. If everything checks out there. Contact what even government organization who is in charge of that land and ask permission for specific day and/or days. I would even get said permission in writing to confirm to any possible authorities that you had the god ahead. (Political organizations tend to “forget” things when there’s a problem).
