Hey, I was wondering what the best lubricant for you marker is.

I have gold cup and pmi perfect oil.... when i poured a lil bit of pmi in the gold cup it immediately went to the bottom. DOES THAT MEAN ANYTHING?

means the PMI is a heavier oil. in most cases thats better.. the lighter the oil the easier it is to wear off. really the best lube is not oil at all. Dow33 is the best all around lube since its a grease it will adhear to parts better and wont wear off with use like oil will.

I happen to use gold cup myself, since that what my local proshop carries.

I find myself oiling my gun before/after play. If I don't use my gun for a couple of days, then I oil try to oil it at least once a week.

I just use Hoppes #9. Seems to work fine for me. *shrugs* I've got a Tippmann Custom 98, and that's what Tippmann suggests anyway.

How about silicone grease? How does that compare to the Dow 33? What's the difference?
