View Full Version : "Gun" or "Marker"?

Ok guys, this thread will most likely have a poll and be dead in a few days, but it doesn't matter cuz I'll get to find out what people call it.
I personally feel it's a gun. Heck, barrel, bolt, hammer, trigger, semi-auto, burst mode.......makes sense to call it a gun. It may not be the image we'd like to project, but let's face it, calling it a marker isn't going to fool anyone. As much as we would like to pretend it's a marker, it's still a gun. I say gun. I may not be politically correct, but then I've never been accused of that.

Gun dammit! What else would you describe it as? You don't call BB guns "BB markers". And a paintball gun is basically a bb gun that shoots really big BBs really fast.

Marker because in old paintball terms it was called marking a opponet.
And the paint ball guns were first used as CATTLE MARKERS.

It's not technically a gun until it shoots over a certain fps but everyone always calls em guns

I don't care. I call them whichever one I feel like calling them at the time that i need to call them something.

I call them both.., but I usually say gun cause marker sounds kinda dumb SOMETIMES...:)

i call it a marker, cuz if i draw something a school since everyone ther is a ******* i have to call it a marker cuz they think its a gun and i'm thinking of shooting someone, geez i hate idiots

I like refer to them as markers. Gun doesn't sound bad your anything thing, but marker describes what we play better. We mark each other with paint, we don't "shoot" each other.
