Does anyone know if this is doable? The Q-Loader is mostly used on Vertical Feed Markers and tournament play where M98's are rarely used in tourney play.

For those of you who don't know what the Q-Loader is here's a link: http://www.qloader.com/

I've been watching the Q-Loader for about 6 months or so and waiting anxiously for its release which was the 28th of January. The Q-Loader is a "clip feed" system that can be mounted onto any, yes ANY, location on your marker. It can be mounted along side the tank, under the barrel, vertically from the barrel, under your chin (if you're holding the marker close to your head) and on the opposite side of the side closest to your face. From the mount there is a tube that goes right into the elbow and then you're locked and loaded. Each tube holds 100 spring loaded rounds. The balls are arranged in a spiral and as one is fired another is instantly pushed in, it can keep up with 30+ BPS. The downfall is the 100 rounds per tube, however the tube can fit into almost any harness and the empty tube can quickly be released and the fresh one snaps in. A nifty option I thought was cool is mounting two tubes beside each other and when one is finished the other kicks in. The idea is truly ingenius.

Anyway, I was just asking if anyone knows if it is compatable with the M98 because as much as I love my Ricochet AK, this thing reduces your profile by a ton with no bulky hopper in your way.

jeeze, 25 bucks for just one of those pods! 250 just for 12! what has this world come to???

anyways, to answer you question, you would probably need a lapco direct feed.

empyreal, i really hate u. i just bought my rico ak, and after seein the q loader website, i think i'm gunna have to spend another 140 for this. :|

anyways p8ntba11 dude is right, ur gunna need a lapco feed to mount this to ur tippy. either that, or find some pvc pipe that will fit into the stock elbow like a hopper does, and hook the q loader on top of the pvp pipe/elbow combo.

keep us posted with pics (if u can) if u get this..

Thanks for the information StupidDude and p8ntba11dude89.

Biggie, businesses are just now starting to sign up for retail options to sell this. My guess is that for the next 2-3 months Q-Loaders will be on back order because AIC has to ship them to the companies and ship them out to personal buyers too.

I most likely, a 99% chance, will be getting one and yes I will post pictures of all the mount positions. However I'm saving up for a new computer and I'm so close I don't want to spend 80 bucks right this second. The place I'm thinking of mounting mine is along my tank which, in my profile, you can read is on a reversed LAPCO Dropforward so the Q-Loader will be under my gun. It may make that area of my gun even more bulkier but the beauty of this is that I can just move it anywhere else I want, even during gameplay.
