I was wondering if the PMI Piranha PRO TS G3 is for newbies? Do you have to know a lot about paintball guns and how things work on it to use this gun? Or is it newbie-safe? Thanks for reading and answering.

No, the Piranha Pro TS isnt necessarily a "newbie" gun..Just gotta know the basics and what to oil etc before you go to play a game.

It has the exact same mechanism as a spyder or other low end Piranha. If you are a newbie I doubt youd need such a nice piranha but if u really want it this is a gun that wont break.(Unless u do it)

I agree ... the main difference between this marker and other PMI Piranhas is the Pure Energy inline regulator (the foregrip with guage). May take you a little while to get the reg adjusted just right, but it has the same internal components as the other piranhas. They are very easy to maintain and work incredibly well.

Get a good marker even if you're a newbie. You won't be a newbie for too long if you play a lot and really study the mechanics of your gun.
Once you get used to your gun you'll appreciate that it started off being a good one.

SubZero makes a good point, but, I must say, there's a certain amount of satisfaction that comes with upgrading a non top-of-the-line marker. I've had a lot of fun adding parts to my STS G2. I just put a PMI Pure Energy Reg on it and can't wait to get to the field and fine tune it.

Well what I think is that if you plan on upgrading like CRAZY then just get a base marker like the Piranha BL, but if you plan on just not upgrading your marker other then the barrel then get a little bit of a nice gun that you actually know how it works etc..

The PRO TS comes with RAM AIR, even though dont know what it does I know that I've heard many experienced players talking about how good it is. The Blue fade is my next gun. Hella better than my Tippmann 98 w/Smart Parts Teardrop Barrel. Heres what I plan to do to it
Piranha PRO TS
===========
Hyperframe LCD
10in Boomstick
BLUE 12volt revvy w/X-Board
KAPP Drop Zone 2
PMI Pure Energy 48ci 3000psi tank
VERTICAL Max-Flo ??????
This will cost me a hella lot of money, but i can manage it.
CAN SOMEONE TELL ME WHAT RAM AIR IS????

RAM air is a low pressure chamber. It has a piston in it that "rams" the air towards the valve.
