Aside from the great performance of the angel, what do you think of it cosmetically? Today for the first time i got to play with a new 2001 lcd at my local proshop. I absolutley loved it and i am trying to get one (as i had origionally intended but didnt :-).
The 2001 black lcds are pretty cool, but what do you think about whats availible? would you save up another 100 and get a colored one? or get the black and go rite out and kick @ss? the 2001 black lcds actually have a kinda neat front end milling job, they are not like the 2000 "box" like bodies. colored ones are cool too. whats your opinion??

I like the smoke grey color on angels, i think that looks best personally, black is a bit bland for me

i believe the color youre talking about are the pewter angels-- this is a dark, but i think 2001's come in this too

have you seen the limited edition FLY ANGEL? sweet... they bead blasted it and then gave it a greyish anno... only 6 made and it looks cool...

I think that if you are going to spend all the money to buy an angel, you should get one that looks good to you. Personally I like the blue 2001 LCD but I would definitely get a colored one if I were buying an angel.

I agree with Pakman about you buying whichever color you like the best. However, I too like the blue color better than the black.

my son has plain black and it looks bad a$$...he does well w/ it also...80,000 balls w/o break ...thats what angels are about...i have timmy and it holds up to the angel well....color is not the fun part of the game....imho
