OK I can figure out why the RT is not tournament legal but why is the e-trigger? I though if you got more than 1 ball per trigger pull it was not legal. I know the e-triger can be adjusted for semi-auto but what's to stop a player from changing during the game?

The reason the ebolt is tourney legal is because you have to switch it to semi automatic. The only mechanism for shutting off the RT is the shut off screw and removing the flow assembly. No ref is going to "trust" your finger that you wont use the RT.

whats stoping him is him not being an idiot. No one but an idiot would do that.

they may not be an idiot. The RT is touchy sometimes and fires several balls even though you were trying to shoot semi.

We know people cheat, I mean I see guys wipe off paint when playing just for fun so I would think there are a few that will switch to turbo mode in the game.
I was just wondering.

Im sure that someone has tried switching off semi. But if you get caught doing that, you will possibly disqualify your team. how pisssed would your team mates be if you did that?

Anything with a way to externally adjust your firing modes (without a tourny lock) is tourny illegal. Does the A-5's e-grip have a externally (without taking anything off the gun) adjustable firing modes? If so, I can't say why it wouldn't be illegal.

you can disable the rt for a tourny if you need to
